Absorbent article
A compressed groove point (16) where compressed grooves (12) formed bilaterally and symmetrically on both sides of a center line (CL) in a lengthwise direction of a sanitary napkin (1) or lines extended from center lines of the compressed grooves (12) intersect with each other at a position corresponding to a front end (31) of a intergluteal cleft of a wearer is formed, and a right and left pair of outline inflection points (17) is formed in an outline of a rear end of the sanitary napkin (1) formed into a bilateral and symmetric wavelike shape. Easy deformation parts (18) that facilitate generation of a deformation in a transverse direction of the sanitary napkin (1) and are formed of the compressed grooves that become base edges of the deformation, are provided on or in the vicinity of two virtual lines (S) connecting the compressed groove base point (16) to the outline inflection points (17) on right and left sides, respectively, such that a distance between the two virtual lines (S) gradually increases toward a rea side.

Apparatus and method for forming an absorbent pad
A method for forming an absorbent pad including a first layer, a second layer and an absorbent material interposed between the first and the second layer and arranged according to a spreading pattern M1 having at least one channel which is free of absorbent material, includes a step of feeding a first web, intended to form the first layer of the pad; a step of feeding a second web, intended to form the second layer of the pad; a step of spreading the absorbent material on the first web according to the spreading pattern M1; a step of joining the first and second webs, a step of removing any absorbent material that may be present in the channel.
ABSORBENT MEMBER FOR A BODY CLEFT ADAPTED PRODUCT AND PRODUCT WITH SUCH ABSORBENT MEMBER
This invention is an absorbent article and more particularly to an improved absorbent device that is worn in body clefts, in particular interlabially by female wearers for catamenial purposes, incontinence protection, or both and in the anal crease for light faecal incontinence or in the context of haemorrhoids, or underarm sweat-pads.
Absorbent structure
An absorbent structure is disclosed. The absorbent structure includes a first fibrous layer having a first surface and a second surface and a second layer having a first surface and second surface. The first fibrous layer is substantially planar and the second absorbent layer includes voids within the layer. The absorbent structure first fibrous layer and the second layer exhibit a structural integrity substantially equal to an absorbent structure without voids.

ABSORBENT PAD WITH ELASTIC ELEMENTS
An absorbent pad having first and second longitudinal pad side edge. The absorbent pad includes a fluid permeable topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core. The absorbent core has first and second longitudinal side edges. The absorbent core in its longitudinal direction has a front portion, a rear portion and an intermediate portion located between the front portion and the rear portion, the front portion, the rear portion and the intermediate portion being of equal lengths. An elastic element is disposed between the fluid permeable topsheet and the backsheet outside of the respective longitudinal core side edges. A width of the absorbent core in the front portion and the intermediate portion varies no more than 25 mm along a length of the absorbent core. The respective elastic elements each extends along at least a part of the front portion and over at least 30% of the intermediate portion.
