The front and/or back body sections, are provided with a tortuous elastic member extending with curvature from one to the other of the side sealed portions, and bonded thereto with adhesive. The amount of adhesive applied to a zone neighbouring the inner zone of each side sealed portion is larger than that applied to the outer zone of each side sealed portion.

The top surface of the pad is further comprised of a gel pad and infused with lotion, such that it does not irritate the skin of the user. Therefore, a user can replace the pad when necessary, while continuing to utilize the rest of the device for multiple diaper changes.
