Layered thumbhole structure
A sleeve cuff is provided for a sleeve comprising an anterior patch affixed to the sleeve and covering at least a portion of a cutout in the sleeve, a distal strap affixed to the sleeve and spanning over at least a portion of a cutout in the sleeve, and the distal strap overlapping at least a portion of the anterior patch to form an aperture for receiving a thumb therethrough. The sleeve cuff has a plurality of configurations, including at least a closed configuration where the aperture is closed and minimizes the wearer's exposure to wind and air elements therethrough, and an opened configuration where the aperture is opened and minimizes the air penetration around the received thumb.
High Tensile Strength Fabric Seams, Weldable Fabric Tabs and the Preparation of Reduced Weight Inflatables
The present disclosure provides high tensile strength FCL seams, as well as methods for forming high tensile strength FCL seams by laser welding. The present disclosure also provides weldable FCL tabs for the reinforcement of both linear and curved sections of seams, as well as methods for reinforcing linear and curved sections of seams with weldable FCL tabs.
BODY SCULPTING GARMENT
A garment for shaping a form of its wearer includes a front panel and a back panel coupled to one another at first and second seams. The front panel comprises self-lining material in a pectoral portion and compression layer material in a torso portion of the front panel. The back panel includes a first arcuate portion of compression layer material along the first seam and a second arcuate portion of compression layer material along the second seam. Lining material extends from an upper portion of the back panel to a bottom portion of the back panel and is coupled to the two arcuate portions such that the two arcuate portions are separated by the lining material. The compression layer material has a higher elastic modulus than a respective elastic modulus of the lining material.

METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING A GARMENT PORTION
A method for assembling a garment portion including accessing a first garment portion, a second garment portion and a fixture, wherein the first garment portion is generally tubular and has two plies. The method further includes positioning the first garment portion on the fixture such that the fixture is positioned in the first garment portion, and wrapping the second garment portion about the first garment portion. The method further includes unrolling or unfolding at least part of the first garment portion over the second garment portion such that the second garment portion is positioned between the two plies of the first garment portion.
TACTILE DEVICE FOR GARMENT
A garment including a pocket is provided. The pocket includes first and second surfaces, each respective surface including a corresponding distal end portion, a corresponding proximal end portion parallel to the corresponding distal end portion, a corresponding upper end portion connecting the corresponding distal end portion and the corresponding proximal end portion, and a corresponding lower end portion connecting the corresponding distal end portion and the corresponding proximal end portion. A cord includes an exterior, a first end portion interposing the corresponding proximal end portions, and a second end portion interposing the corresponding lower end portions. Each respective tactile element includes a through-hole and is disposed on the cord circumjacent to the exterior. A first seam affixes the corresponding proximal end portions and the first end portion of the cord. A second seam affixes the corresponding lower end portions and the second end portion of the cord.

Lower leg sleeve
The present invention is an improved leg sleeve that is designed by utilizing wicking fabric for cooling and protecting a user's legs from UV rays. In particular, the invention allows a user to participate in physical activities such as sports and keep moisture and direct sun rays away from the skin, thus keeping extremities cool. The proposed embodiment provides a unique experience for those individuals who wish to protect their bodies from dangerous heat while remaining active.
STRETCHABLE GARMENTS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD
A one-size-fits-all garment (10) is formed of multiple stretchable fabric portions (2) joined together by a PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) thread (38). The garment includes a waistband (6) that uses a paper fusing technique to fuse a fusing material from a paper backing sheet (18, 18A, 18B), onto the waistband which is also joined to the stretchable fabric portions using PBT thread. A method for forming the garment includes using a sheet of carrier paper with a fusing material such as a plurality of discrete dots of fusing material, to the waistband and sewing the multiple stretching stretchable fabric portions together and to the waistband using the PBT thread.
