A sleeve cuff is provided for a sleeve comprising an anterior patch affixed to the sleeve and covering at least a portion of a cutout in the sleeve, a distal strap affixed to the sleeve and spanning over at least a portion of a cutout in the sleeve, and the distal strap overlapping at least a portion of the anterior patch to form an aperture for receiving a thumb therethrough. The sleeve cuff has a plurality of configurations, including at least a closed configuration where the aperture is closed and minimizes the wearer's exposure to wind and air elements therethrough, and an opened configuration where the aperture is opened and minimizes the air penetration around the received thumb.

A first and a second fabric portions made of fabric obtained from weaving weft threads and warp threads of polymeric material are fused together along a first and a second fusing areas. The first reinforcement band at least partially overlaps the first fusing area and the second reinforcement band at least partially overlaps the second fusing area. A method for manufacturing the wearable textile article includes fusing together the first and second fabric portions along the first and second fusing areas to obtain the tubular element, and joining the first and second reinforcement bands in a partially overlapping way with respect to the first and second fusing areas on the external or internal side.

The weldable zipper includes a pair of zipper strips, and a material of the pair of zipper strips can be heat welded to any one of the pair of front fabric pieces, the pair of rear fabric pieces or the headgear fabric piece.

A swimsuit is disclosed herein comprising a bust portion, and a bottom portion including a waist portion configured to surround a torso, with an inner fabric layer including an interior surface and an exterior surface, and an outer fabric layer including an interior surface and an exterior surface, a left leg opening defined by a lower left edge portion, and a right leg opening defined by a lower right edge portion. The lower left edge portion and lower right edge portion are raw cut and are bonded with a bonding layer between the interior surface of the inner layer and the interior surface of the exterior layer. A first positioning strip is formed on the exterior surface of the inner fabric layer along an edge portion of at least one of the bust portion and the bottom portion. A garment includes a substantially seamless base layer made from a compressive material, an outer layer positioned outward of at least a portion of the compressive material, and seam tape coupling the outer layer to the base layer. The outer layer is configured to cover less than an entire circumference of a wearer of the garment, and the base layer extends around at least a portion of the circumference not covered by the outer layer. For example, the outer layer may not cover a wearer's lateral thigh region, minimizing the availability of non-taut material in that region that may be subject to easier grabbing or manipulation by an opponent.

In one illustrative embodiment, one exemplary convertible garment may include a multilayered textile body having a central opening, which can be arranged in a first conformation to serve as an insulated jacket or poncho that features a hood disposed at the central opening, and, may include hand-warming and security pockets and a yoke with a closeable recess. Such a convertible garment can be arranged in a second conformation to serve as an insulated ground cloth and reversed to serve as a protective cover or blanket. The garment may feature an attached storage pouch that is stowed in the yoke recess in the first and second conformations. In a third conformation, the garment may be folded and stowed in the storage pouch to serve as a vented cushion.
