An optical fiber cable includes: an optical fiber; a cable jacket that includes inner and outer tubes; first and second open detection lines; and an optical connector disposed at a first end of the optical fiber cable. A first end of the first open detection line and a first end of the second open detection line are disposed inside the optical connector and are not electrically connected to each other inside the optical connector. The optical fiber is disposed in one of a first region and a second region, wherein the first region is inside the inner tube and the second region is between the inner tube and the outer tube, and at least one of the first and second open detection lines is disposed in the other of the first region and the second region.
LIGHT SCREEN OF FIBER OPTIC CONNECTORS
A light screen of fiber optic connectors. The light screen of fiber optic connectors comprises a metal framework, a first metal spring tab and a second metal spring tab integrally formed inside the metal framework and distributed oppositely, and the end of the first metal spring tab and the end of the second metal spring tab are staggered, farming a spring tab opening-closing structure for shielding light. This new type of light screen is made of sheet metal, which has a certain strength, convenient for automatic assembly in late stage, and the first metal spring tab and the second metal spring tab of the light screen have excellent recovery capability, convenient to use, and the lifetime is longer. In addition, this new model has simple structure, very simple production technique and convenient assembly, so that this new model has very strong marketability.
Optical fiber connection device for connecting optical fiber and optical fiber assembly
An optical connection device includes an optical fiber, a first connection member which includes an inlet to which the optical fiber is connected and an outlet, a second connection member which includes an aperture connected to the outlet of the first connection member and to which light from the optical fiber is transmitted through the first connection member, and a first light transmission protection part which protects a tip of the optical fiber in the first connection member.
ADAPTOR AND METHOD FOR MATING A FIBER OPTIC CONNECTOR
An adaptor and a method for mating a fiber optic connector to an adaptor are provided. The adaptor includes a retaining clip including a slideable surface. A shutter spring is positioned along the slideable surface. A shutter is pivotally connected to the retaining clip from a first angle prior to insertion of the connector into the adaptor to a second angle after receiving the connector. A main body forms an opening through which the retaining clip is received. The connector is insertable through an opening formed by a bushing and a sleeve. The method includes sliding the shutter spring into the retaining clip, connecting the shutter to the shutter spring, biasing the shutter in a forward direction via the shutter spring held in a non-orthogonal angle prior to insertion of the connector, and inserting the retaining clip including the shutter and the shutter spring into the main body.
Coupling device for light guides
A coupling device (9) for light guides (8), including a light entrance (11) and a light-guide space (12) aligned at the light entrance (11), and including a clamping device with a first roller pair (20) with two opposing rollers (21; 32), between which an inserted light guide (8) can be clamped. The coupling device (9) has a second roller pair (26) with two opposing rollers (21), and the second roller pair (26) is arranged closer to the light entrance (11) than the first roller pair (20).
Light screen of fiber optic connectors
A light screen of fiber optic connectors. The light screen of fiber optic connectors comprises a metal framework, a first metal spring tab and a second metal spring tab integrally formed inside the metal framework and distributed oppositely, and the end of the first metal spring tab and the end of the second metal spring tab are staggered, forming a spring tab opening-closing structure for shielding light.
OPTICAL SYSTEM WITH SAFETY COMPONENT
