ABSORBENT ARTICLE COMPRISING AN INTERMEDIATE LAYER
The present disclosure relates to an absorbent article comprising a topsheet, a backsheet, and a layer of absorbent material disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, wherein the layer of absorbent material comprises superabsorbent polymer, and an intermediate layer comprising a nonwoven web. The intermediate layer is disposed between the layer of absorbent material and the backsheet, wherein the intermediate layer has a MD tensile/basis weight no greater than about 0.75 N/5 cm/g/m.sup.2 as measured according to Tensile Strength Test, and a thickness/basis weight no less than about 0.078 mm/g/m.sup.2, as measured FTT Test.
Textile Backsheet
Textile backsheets including a nonwoven fabric and film, such as a vapor-permeable and liquid impermeable (VPLI) film or a non-permeable film, are provided, wherein the nonwoven fabric is directly or indirectly bonded to the film. Methods of making such textile backsheets and absorbent articles including the textile backsheets are also provided.
Absorbent article
(Object) To prevent a high compression portion from being defectively formed and also a top sheet from being torn. (Means of Achieving the Object) A sanitary napkin (1) in which a low compression portion (15) and a high compression portion (16, 17, 18) are formed on a bottom surface of a compressed groove (10) that is recessed from a skin contact surface side. The high compression portion includes regularly-arranged high compression portions (16) that are regularly arranged in a longitudinal direction of the compressed groove (10), a large-area high compression portion (17) that is irregularly arranged in the compressed groove (10) and has an area larger than an area of each of the regularly-arranged high compression portions (16), and an auxiliary high compression portion (18) that is arranged at one side, in a longitudinal direction of the napkin, of the large-area high compression portion (17) through the low compression portion (15) so as to surround the one side, in the longitudinal direction of the napkin, of the large-area high compression portion (17).
ABSORBER AND DISPOSABLE DIAPER EQUIPPED WITH SAME
The present invention aims to achieve both a function of diffusing excretions or the like in a longitudinal direction of an absorber and maintenance of adhesion to a wearer in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The absorber includes a top sheet (21), a back sheet (22) opposed to the top sheet (21), and an absorbent core (23) extending in a predetermined longitudinal direction between the top sheet (21), and the back sheet (22) and configured to absorb excretions or the like of the wearer. The absorbent core (23) has a plurality of opening portions (23a) each having a shape that opens toward the top sheet (21) and extends in the longitudinal direction and each arranged in the longitudinal direction. An interval (G1) in the longitudinal direction between two opening portions (23a) adjacent to each other among the plurality of opening portions (23a) is set to a dimension equal to or larger than a dimension (D1) in the longitudinal direction of each of the two adjacent opening portions (23a).
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article can have a topsheet layer, a backsheet layer, and an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet layer and the backsheet layer. The absorbent core can have a primary absorbent region having a first height measured from the topsheet layer facing surface to the backsheet layer facing surface and a first density, a secondary absorbent region having a second height measured from the topsheet layer facing surface to the backsheet layer facing surface and a second density, and a tertiary absorbent region having a third height measured from the topsheet layer facing surface to the backsheet layer facing surface and a third density. The first height is greater than the second height and the second height is greater than the third height. The first density is the same as the second density. The third density is greater than each of the first density and second density.
DISPOSABLE WEARABLE ARTICLE
A disposable wearable article has a top sheet constituting a surface for use, a liquid-impervious sheet provided on the under face side, and an absorbent element interposed therebetween, wherein the top sheet is formed of perforated nonwoven fabric having a number of holes arranged at intervals and each penetrating two sides of the fabric. The absorbent element includes an absorber body and a packing sheet covering the absorber body. The packing sheet is formed of laminated nonwoven fabric having a spunbonded layer and a melt-blown layer, and a moisturizer composed mainly of glycerin is applied to an exterior surface of the top sheet.
Shaped nonwovens that exhibit high visual resolution
A nonwoven fabric is disclosed. The nonwoven fabric can include a first surface and a second surface and at least a first visually discernible zone of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surface. Each of the three-dimensional features can define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions can have a difference in values for an intensive property, and the first visually discernible zone can exhibit a high visual resolution.

Pad
A pad capable of enhancing the fitting performance to a wearer. An absorber includes a front body portion, a back body portion, and a narrowing portion, whose width dimension is reduced, provided between the front body portion and the back body portion. A first groove extending in the front-back direction is formed in a central portion in the width direction of the absorber. A third groove extending in the width direction is formed in a central portion in the front-back direction of the narrowing portion. A second groove extending in the width direction is formed in a front side portion in the front-back direction of the narrowing portion. A fourth groove extending in the width direction is formed in a back side portion in the front-back direction of the narrowing portion.
