The image capturing device is disposed on the 3D projecting device. The controller is electrically connected to the image capturing device, the rotational base, and the 3D projecting device.
Reaction Compensated Steerable Platform
A reaction compensated steerable platform device is disclosed. The reaction compensated steerable platform device can include a base, a steerable platform movably coupled to the base, and a reaction mass movably coupled to the base. The reaction compensated steerable platform device can also include a primary actuator coupled to the steerable platform and the base to cause movement of the steerable platform. The reaction compensated steerable platform device can further include a secondary actuator coupled to the reaction mass and the base to cause movement of the reaction mass. In addition, the reaction compensated steerable platform device can also include a load sensor configured to provide feedback for actuation of the secondary actuator, such that the reaction mass moves to compensate for a load induced on a support structure by the movement of the steerable platform.
Reaction Compensated Steerable Platform
A reaction compensated steerable platform device is disclosed. The reaction compensated steerable platform device can include a base, a steerable platform movably coupled to the base, and a reaction mass movably coupled to the base. The reaction compensated steerable platform device can also include a primary actuator to cause movement of the steerable platform, and a trim actuator coupled to the reaction mass and the base. In addition, the reaction compensated steerable platform device can include a sensor configured to provide feedback for actuation of the trim actuator. The reaction mass can be configured to move by actuation independent of the trim actuator to compensate for a first portion of a load induced by the movement of the steerable platform. Actuation of the trim actuator can be controlled by the sensor, such that the reaction mass moves to compensate for a second portion of the load induced by the movement of the steerable platform.
ACTUATOR DEVICES FOR CONVERTING ROTATIONAL INPUT TO LINEAR OUTPUT
An actuator device includes a cartwheel flexure having a central moving carriage component configured for parallel motion along an axis of the actuator device. A frame is configured to remain stationary relative to the central moving carriage component. A plurality of cross-beams flexibly support the central moving carriage from the frame, wherein the plurality of cross-beams provide flexibility for movement of the central moving carriage relative to the frame along the axis and provide rigidity in other directions.
OPTICAL-PATH FOLDING-ELEMENT WITH AN EXTENDED TWO DEGREE OF FREEDOM ROTATION RANGE
Actuators for rotating an optical-path-folding-element with two, first and second, degrees of freedom in an extended rotation range around two respective rotation axes, folded cameras including such actuators and dual-cameras including a folded camera as above together with an upright camera.
EXTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY
A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mounting arm and a mirror head having a mirror reflective element. An electrically-operated actuator includes a first attachment element that attaches at an actuator-mounting bracket of the mounting arm and a second attachment element that attaches at the mirror head. The actuator includes first and second motors that are electrically operated to cause adjustment of the mirror head relative to the mounting arm about respective first and second pivot axes. A mounting post of the mounting arm passes through an opening of the mirror head, the opening providing clearance between the mirror head and the mounting arm to allow movement of the mirror head relative to the mounting arm during electrical operation of the actuator when the base mounting portion of the vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly is mounted at the exterior portion of the side door of the equipped vehicle.
OPTOMECHANICALLY COMPENSATED SPECTROMETER
A spectrometer for examining the spectrum of an optical emission source may include: an optical base body, a light entry aperture connected to the optical base body to couple light into the spectrometer, at least one dispersion element to receive the light as a beam of rays and generate a spectrum, and at least one detector for measuring the generated spectrum. A light path may run from the light entry aperture to the detector. A mirror group with at least two mirrors may be provided in a section of the light path between the light entry aperture and the at least one detector, in which the beam does not run parallel, which may compensate for temperature effects. In the mirror group, at least one mirror or the entire mirror group may be moveable relative to the optical base body and may be coupled to a temperature-controlled drive.
Adjustable mounting arrangement for an object to be positioned precisely relative to a base
An adjustable support assembly for an object to be accurately positioned relative to a base, in particular for a secondary mirror of an optical mirror telescope, has at least one support structure connected to the base and to the object. The support structure has at least two struts extending in a non-parallel manner relative to each other, where each strut has associated therewith a drivable actuator element in such a way that the actuator element applies a force onto the strut that deflects the strut transversely to the longitudinal extension thereof. The support structure may be supported in an articulated manner relative to the base.
Powerfold actuator for exterior mirror
A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head pivotally mounted at a mounting arm configured for attachment at a side of a vehicle. The mirror head includes a mirror casing and a reflective element. A powerfold actuator is operable to pivot the mirror head relative to the mounting arm between at least a folded position and a drive position. The powerfold actuator includes a primary detent that is engaged to maintain the mirror head at the drive position when the mirror head is pivoted via the actuator to the drive position. The powerfold actuator includes a secondary detent. Following pivoting via the powerfold actuator of the mirror head to the folded position, when the mirror head is manually pivoted from the folded position to the drive position, the primary detent is disengaged and the secondary detent is engaged to maintain the mirror head at the drive position.
Laser-driven microplasma XUV source
Systems and methods for generating extreme ultraviolet radiation from plasma are described herein. In an embodiment, gas is provided to a gas target within a vacuum chamber. A pulse laser or a pulse laser-driven wavelength conversion system provides a beam which is focused through a lens or microscope object onto the gas target to produce plasma. A collection mirror is then used to guide an extreme ultraviolet radiation beam from the plasma to a target location.
