Diposable absorbent pants with containment system
An absorbent pant is provided with a containment system defined by a wearing-facing surface of the absorbent pant. The containment system comprises at least one of the following: a pleated section comprising a plurality of pleats; a channeled section comprising a plurality of alternating ridges and channels; and/or a bubbled section comprising a plurality of hemispherical-shaped bubbles aligned in a plurality of rows.
Device for the jellification of a water-based fluid, use and method for transforming the water-based fluid into a solid gel, and a method for manufacture of said device
A device for the jellification/absorption of a water-based fluid, said device comprising a) at least one member comprising at least one absorption material and at least one jellifying agent, and b) at least one container, wherein the at least one jellifying agent is adapted to react with the water-based fluid to form a gel; wherein the at least one member is contained within the at least one container, and wherein the at least one container is made, at least in part, of a water-soluble material. A method for the manufacture of the device and a use of the device.
DISPOSABLE COMPOSTABLE DIAPER AND FULFILLMENT SERVICE
A disposable diaper having a first sheet of viscose fiber material disposed against a child's skin, an acquisition and diffusion layer (ADL) interposed over top of the first sheet of viscose fiber, a coating layer of tissue fiber interposed over top of the ADL layer, an absorbency core layer interposed over top of the coating layer, a permeable layer of polymer film interposed over top of the absorbency core layer, and a second sheet of viscose fiber material overlaid over top of the permeable polymer film layer, the second sheet functioning as the exterior sheet of the disposable diaper.
ABSORBENT ARTICLES WITH IMPROVED CORES
Absorbent articles and absorbent core structures with improved core strength and stability with long core end seal and channel hang times.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH IMPROVED FLUID HANDLING
An absorbent article having a fluid-handling system includes a fluid permeable bodyside liner; a fluid impermeable outer cover; an absorbent core disposed between the liner and the outer cover, wherein the absorbent core includes superabsorbent material and optionally fluff pulp; and a core wrap at least partially encircling the absorbent core, wherein the core wrap includes a three-dimensionally patterned, wetlaid, cellulosic tissue nonwoven material. Fibers of the nonwoven material are entirely cellulose fibers, and the core wrap includes opposing core wrap surfaces each having a textured surface. Each surface includes an average material plane, a plurality of ridges extending in a z-direction from the average material plane, and a plurality of grooves alternating with the plurality of ridges, wherein the grooves depth extend in the opposite z-direction from the average material plane.
NONWOVEN MATERIAL WITH HIGH CORE BICOMPONENT FIBERS
Nonwoven materials having at least one layer comprising high core bicomponent fibers are provided. The nonwoven materials can have multiple layers and are suitable for use in a variety of applications, including in absorbent products. Such nonwoven materials can be patterned to create a three-dimensional topography including indentations formed of valleys and ridges. The nonwoven materials can have improved resiliency and strength and can retain their structure under wetted conditions and after tension and compression. The nonwoven materials can further facilitate the transfer of the liquid through the nonwoven material for improved liquid distribution and can also have improved liquid retention properties.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH IMPROVED FLUID HANDLING
An absorbent article having a fluid-handling system includes a fluid permeable bodyside liner; a fluid impermeable outer cover; an absorbent core disposed between the liner and the outer cover, wherein the absorbent core includes superabsorbent material and optionally fluff pulp; a tissue core wrap encircling the absorbent core; and a distribution sub-layer disposed between the absorbent core and the outer cover and within the core wrap, wherein the distribution sub-layer includes a three-dimensionally patterned, wetlaid, cellulosic tissue nonwoven material. The distribution sub-layer includes opposing distribution sub-layer surfaces each having a textured surface, wherein each surface includes an average material plane, a plurality of ridges extending in a z-direction from the average material plane, and a plurality of grooves alternating with the plurality of ridges, wherein the grooves depth extend in the opposite z-direction from the average material plane.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article comprises an absorbent core sandwiched between a topsheet and a backsheet. The article defines a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion. The absorbent core comprises an absorbent component enclosed by a core cover comprising an upper and a lower side, and the core is formed with a sealing arrangement for joining the upper and lower sides comprising two channel sealings extending along an longitudinal axis in the crotch portion and defining a first channel sealing width and a second channel sealing width, respectively. The front portion of the core is formed with a recess defining a depth extending from a front edge of the core and into the front portion. A distance is defined between said front edge of the core and a front edge of each channel sealing, such that the ratio of the depth and the distance is within the interval 0.05-0.8.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article including an absorbent core sandwiched between a liquid-permeable topsheet and a liquid-impermeable backsheet, the article defining a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion, wherein the absorbent core includes an absorbent component enclosed by a core cover including an upper side and a lower side, and a sealing arrangement for joining the upper and lower sides, wherein the sealing arrangement includes two side seams extending along two side edges in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the core, wherein the sealing arrangement further includes at least one transversally oriented connecting sealing, the at least one connecting sealing joining the side seams, wherein the sealing arrangement further includes welding spots, wherein the sum of the area of the welding spots is constant along a direction of a transversal axis of the core.
