Power prism for folded lenses
An optical power prism that may be used in folded lens systems that consists of a glass prism and a glass lens attached to a surface of the prism using a thin layer of optical glue or by optical contact. The glass lens does not have a flange and thus the prism can be smaller than prisms used in conventional power prisms with the same lens effective area, thus reducing the Z-height of the power prism when compared to conventional power prisms. An optical glass may be used for the lens that has a higher refractive index than can be provided by optical plastic which allows the lens to be thinner than plastic lenses. The lenses may be formed by molding a glass wafer to form lens shapes on a first surface of the wafer; the molded wafer is then ground from a second surface to singulate the lenses.

ZOOM LENS, CAMERA MODULE, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A zoom lens, a camera module, and an electronic device. The zoom lens comprises a first lens group having a negative focal power, a second lens group having a positive focal power, a third lens group having a negative focal power, and a prism. The prism comprises an incident surface, a reflection surface, and an exit surface sequentially connected to each other. The second lens group and the third lens group can move with respect to the prism.
OPTICAL IMAGING DEVICE
An optical imaging system includes a first lens, a second lens, a third lens, a fourth lens, and a fifth lens, disposed in order from an object side, and a first reflection member and a second reflection member, disposed on an object side of the first lens, each having a freeform surface.
Folded optical systems
Single fold optical systems that include a power prism and a lens stack including two or more refractive lens elements. The single fold optical system may provide a long mechanical back focus without increasing the Z-height of the optical system. Providing power on the prism may reduce the optical total length and reduce the X-length of the optical system. The single folded optical systems may provide reduced Z-axis height and reduced X-axis length when compared to conventional double folded optical systems with similar optical characteristics. In addition, the optical systems may include an anamorphic lens that is oriented to correct for astigmatism caused by surface errors of the reflective surface of the prism.
FOLDED ZOOM CAMERA MODULE WITH ADAPTIVE APERTURE
Systems comprising a folded camera that includes a lens module with a native aperture, the lens module having a height H.sub.M, an adaptive aperture located between the native aperture and an optical path folding element, and an adaptive aperture forming mechanism for forming the adaptive aperture, wherein the adaptive aperture forming mechanism has a height H.sub.AA not larger than H.sub.M, and methods of using same. In various embodiments, the adaptive aperture forming mechanism includes an actuator and at least one pair of blades operative to be moved by the actuator to a plurality of positions to form the adaptive aperture.
OPTICAL IMAGING LENS
An optical imaging lens may include a first, a second, a third, a fourth and a fifth lens elements positioned in an order from an object side to an image side. Through designing concave and/or convex surfaces of the five lens elements, the improved optical imaging lens may provide better imaging quality while the effective focal length may be enlarged, and the f-number may be maintained.
Reflective eyepiece optical system and head-mounted near-to-eye display device
The present invention relates to a reflective eyepiece optical system and a head-mounted near-to-eye display apparatus. The system includes: a first lens group, and a first optical element and a second lens group for transmitting and reflecting a light from a miniature image displayer. The second lens group includes an optical reflection surface, and the optical reflection surface is an optical surface farthest from a human eye viewing side in the second lens group. The optical reflection surface is concave to a human eye viewing direction. The first optical element reflects the light refracted by the first lens group to the second lens group, and then transmits the light refracted, reflected, and refracted by the second lens group to the human eye.
Reflective eyepiece optical system and head-mounted near-to-eye display device
The present invention relates to a reflective eyepiece optical system and a head-mounted near-to-eye display device. The system includes: a first optical element and a second optical element arranged successively in an incident direction of an optical axis of human eyes, and a first lens group located on an optical axis of a miniature image displayer. The first optical element is used for transmitting and reflecting an image light from the miniature image displayer. The second optical element includes an optical reflection surface. The first optical element reflects the image light refracted by the first lens group to the second optical element, and then transmits the image light reflected by the second optical element to the human eyes.

An optical system for a camera may include a lens group having a plurality of lenses, a prism, and an image sensor. The prism may be positioned, optically, between the plurality of lenses and the image sensor along the optical transmitting path of the light. The prism may include at least four surfaces, which may fold the light within the prism at least four times to guide the light from the plurality of lenses passing through the prism to the image sensor. The prism may include multiple prisms joined together using an optical cement. The prism may include one or more aperture masks inside the prism to reduce flare.
