A head and neck restraining system is disclosed herein. The system includes a helmet, a neck brace structure, and a tether system. The neck brace structure includes a neck extension that is attached to shoulder extensions. The tether system includes at least one ring structure that is configured to attach to the helmet and a single tether material that slides through the at least one ring. The single tether material is guided along the neck extension and attached to the shoulder extensions. The at least one ring structure is positioned between the neck and shoulder extensions along the single tether material and splits the load on the helmet to the neck extension and the shoulder extension along to the single tether material created by exerted forces.

The present application provides a protective apparatus that includes a left and a right generally arched shaped portion with a foam padding system. The foam padding system comprising an adjustable channel that accommodates a shape of a shoulder, the foam padding system including a shoulder pad removably attached to an upper end of at least one of the generally arched shaped portions, and a pair of adjustable body pads removably attached to beneath the shoulder pad in a variable configuration that creates the adjustable channel.

The present application provides a protective apparatus that includes a left and a right generally arched shaped portion with a foam padding system. A padded compression garment consisting at least of underwear with a gusset (5) between the leg portions, a plurality of interconnected compressing components, and pockets (10) to receive padded inserts (7). A multiview body camera system comprising a vest, a helmet, shoulder pads, camera units providing video, directional microphones providing audio, sensors providing motion detection and other functions is described herein. A control module controls camera units, microphones, sensors and all other circuitry. A tamper-proof locking compartment containing elements of the body camera system is operable by a remote control signal transmitted from an authorized party or by a security code. The body camera system features voice command recognition, real time monitoring, recording, storing, remote reporting; alerts the wearer of impending threats, such as approaching cars, persons, objects or gunshots and may incorporate a visor that provides a panoramic view. The body camera integrates all components internally. Bullet resistant material is used in the construction of the vest and helmet. The device operates continuously, and the wearer cannot disrupt the operation without consequence. All recorded data is archived an internal memory.
