HEADS-UP DISPLAY FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, MOTOR VEHICLE WITH A HEADS-UP DISPLAY, AND METHOD FOR ARRANGING A HEADS-UP DISPLAY IN A MOTOR VEHICLE
At least one imaging unit for emitting an image in the form of a beam path and at least one mirror module for deflecting the beam path which is emitted by the imaging unit are included in a head-up display for a motor vehicle. The mirror module includes at least two different mirrors which are movable into the beam path, and a respective curvature of the mirrors is matched to respective vehicle-specific windshield variants. The head-up display may be arranged in the motor vehicle by selecting one of the mirrors whose curvature is matched to the windshield variant, embodied in a vehicle-specific manner, and arranging the selected mirror in a region through which the beam path extends in the case of an activated imaging unit.
FLIP DOWN AUXILIARY LENS FOR A HEAD-WORN COMPUTER
Aspects of the present disclosure relate aids for the visually impaired.
METHOD FOR IMPROVING COLOR RENDITION IN A HEAD-WORN COMPUTER
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a method for improving color rendition in images displayed to a user of a head-worn computer as digital images with colored subpixels, the method including determining the colors associated with each color filter in the color filter array, determining the subpixels positioned under each color filter in the color filter array along the chief ray angles sampled by the lens, shifting the digital code values between subpixels in the digital image to provide a modified digital image, wherein digital code values within the modified image are positioned at the determined subpixels positioned under each color filter along the chief ray angles sampled by the lens in correspondence to the colored subpixels in the digital image, and displaying the modified digital image in the head-worn computer.
HEAD MOUNTED IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS
A head mounted image display apparatus including a display section that displays an image, a frame member that supports the display section, and a mounting member that is supported by one end of the frame member and allows the frame member to be mounted on a user's head, wherein the frame member has, at the one end, a first support section that supports the mounting member and a second support section that supports the mounting member in a support scheme different from a support scheme in accordance with which the first support member supports the mounting member.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FITTING HEAD MOUNTED VISION AUGMENTATION SYSTEMS
A head worn display can be designed with an integrated camera for obtaining an image of a scene, transmitting the obtained image to a processor, modification of the image in substantially real time by the processor, and displaying the modified image on a display device worn by the individual. According to embodiments of the invention various methods are provided for adjusting the position of the displayed video in the horizontal left/right, vertical up/down, and horizontal in/out, and angular up/down dimensions relative to the individual's eyes.
Head-mounted display device
A head-mounted display device is provided. The head-mounted display device includes: a frame having one surface formed to face a user's face; a wearing part formed to be coupled to at least a part of the frame so as to allow the frame to be fixed to the face; a mounting part formed in a cavity structure so that an external electronic device is capable of being mounted on the other surface of the frame; and one or more fastening parts that fix the external electronic device to the mounting part, wherein the fastening parts has an inclined opening angle.
Microdisplay based immersive headset
An immersive headset device is provided that includes a display portion and a body portion. The display portion may include microdisplays having a compact size. The microdisplays may be movable (e.g., rotational) relative to the body portion and can be moved (e.g., rotated) between a flipped-up position and a flipped-down position. In some instances, when the microdisplays are flipped up, the headset provides an augmented reality (AR) mode to a user, and when the microdisplays are flipped down, the headset provide a virtual reality (VR) mode to the user. In certain implementations, the headset includes an electronics source module to provide power and/or signal to the microdisplays. The electronics source module can be attached to a rear of the body portion in order to provide advantageous weight distribution about the head of the user.
DISPLAY DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A display device for a motor vehicle includes: a projection module for generating an image for a projection in a direction of gaze of a user of the display device along an optical path.; a reflection and/or display element; a support element for the reflection and/or display element; and a holding element, comprising a protruding part relative to the reflection and/or display element. The reflection and/or display element is held between the support element and the holding element and in a fixed position relative to the support element,
Head Mounted Display And Wearable Computer
A head mounted display with the improved weight balance of an image display unit and an additional device that are supported by a spectacle-type frame is provided. The head mounted display includes: an image display unit including an image display member 2 to be disposed in front of a wearer's eye; a frame including a left front part and a right front part to be disposed on a front side of the wearer's head, a right temple part connected to a right end of the right front part, and a left temple part connected to a left end of the left front part, and supporting the image display unit; a relay unit including a relay circuit board on which a sensor for detecting a state of the wearer's head is mounted, and supported by the right temple part or the left temple part; an external connection cable connected to the relay circuit board; an intermediate cable for connecting between the relay circuit board and the image display unit; and an earphone unit 70 (a second housing 71). Transmission paths for signals/power are formed by the external connection cable, the relay circuit board, and the intermediate cable.
Wearable display device having a sliding structure
A wearable display device that employs a sliding structure is disclosed. The device includes: a frame; a main unit coupled to the frame; a non-bending part, which includes a camera configured to capture an image of a forward direction, and which is coupled to the main unit and is configured to slide to a first position; a hinge coupled with the non-bending part; and a bending part, which is configured to provide image information to a user, and which is coupled with the hinge to rotate within a predefined angle. When the bending part is rotated, the camera is exposed to the exterior and moves from the first position to a second position. The device prevents malfunctioning and damage even when the device is worn for extended periods, and it is possible to resolve the problem of the wearable display device obstructing the field of vision when not in use.
