Length-to-waist and hip-to-side silhouettes of adult disposable absorbent articles and arrays
In one embodiment, an array of packages may comprise three or more different sizes of disposable absorbent articles. The Product Length-to-Waist Silhouette of a second absorbent article may be equal to or less than a Product Length-to-Waist Silhouette of a first absorbent article. And the Product Length-to-Waist Silhouette of a third absorbent article may be equal to or less than a Product Length-to-Waist Silhouette of a second absorbent article. And, an Array Average Product Length-to-Waist Silhouette of first and second packages of the array may be from about 1.1 to about 0.3. Further, an Array Average Product-Hip-to-Side Silhouette may be from about 1.0 to about 1.7.
DISPOSABLE BABY CHANGING PAD SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A disposable baby changing pad system includes a changing pad body extending from a top end to a bottom end and being composed of a thin, flexible material, the changing pad body further having a pocket formed on a top surface of the changing pad body, the pocket having a top layer sealing an interior area of the pocket; an opening extending into the interior area from the top layer; one or more wipes sealed within the pocket; and a diaper positioned on the top surface of the changing pad body; the changing pad body folds around the pocket and the diaper.
DISPOSABLE DIAPER FOR PET, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DISPOSABLE DIAPER FOR PET AND PACKAGE OF THE DISPOSABLE DIAPERS FOR PET
A disposable diaper for a pet that wraps around a waist of the pet includes: a main body including a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core between the topsheet and the backsheet; and a binding portion in a main-body first end that is at one end side in a waistline direction of the disposable diaper. The disposable diaper further includes mark portions spaced apart in the waistline direction.
Length-to-waist silhouettes of adult disposable absorbent articles and arrays
An array of packages may comprise three or more different sizes of disposable absorbent articles. The Product Length-to-Waist Silhouette of an array of three or more absorbent articles may be from about 0.9 to about 1.1 or from about 0.5 to about 0.7.
ADULT DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLES AND ARRAYS OF ABSORBENT ARTICLES COMPRISING IMPROVED DESIGNS
An array of packages comprising two or more different sizes of absorbent articles, the array comprising first, second, and third packages comprising first, second, and third absorbent articles having at least first and second sizes. The first, second, and third articles may have an insert length to rise ratio greater than 60%. And, the first, second, and third packages may comprise the same brand name and sub-brand name. And, the first, second, and third absorbent articles may have identical or substantially identical chassis.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH THREE-DIMENSIONAL HOT-MELT BONDED LAMINATE
An absorbent article such as a baby diaper comprising a three-dimensional laminate 30 having a first layer 1 intermittently bonded to a second layer 2 by a heterophase polymer. The topsheet comprises three-dimensional protrusions 9 in the first layer 1 which are not bonded to the second layer 2. The heterophase polymer has an enthalpy of fusion of at least 10 J/g. The laminate may be used on the wearer-facing side of the article as topsheet 24 and/or on the garment-facing side as part of the backsheet 26. The first layer may comprise natural fibers.
Absorbent article with leg cuffs
A disposable absorbent article may include a chassis that includes a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; and a leg gasketing system. The leg gasketing system may include an inner cuff and an outer cuff; the inner cuff may include an inner cuff folded edge and an inner cuff material edge and the outer cuff may include an outer cuff folded edge and an outer cuff material edge such that the web of material is folded laterally inward to form the outer cuff folded edge and folded laterally outward to form the inner cuff folded edge. The leg gasketing system may also include a leg gasketing system pocket with an opening on an inboard longitudinal edge of the pocket.
PROCESS FOR MAKING AN ABSORBENT ARTICLE COMPRISING A TOPSHEET/ACQUISITION LAYER LAMINATE
A process of making an absorbent article is disclosed. A liquid permeable topsheet web extending substantially continuously in a machine direction a backsheet web, and an intermediate layer are provided. The topsheet web has first and second surfaces. The backsheet web extends substantially continuously in the machine direction. The intermediate layer has a first and second surface. The topsheet and intermediate layer are aligned in a face to face relationship such that the second surface of the topsheet in in contact with the first surface of the intermediate layer and simultaneously mechanically deformed which combines the topsheet with the intermediate layer. The topsheet web and intermediate layer are nested together such that a majority of the three-dimensional protrusions formed in the topsheet web coincide with and fit together with a majority of the three-dimensional protrusions formed in the intermediate layer to provide a topsheet/intermediate layer laminate web having three-dimensional protrusions.
NONWOVEN SUITABLE FOR USE IN ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A nonwoven having the following properties: a Horizontal Bending Drop at 100 mm of at least 75 mm and a Z-Compliance Index of at least 50 mm.sup.3/N. The nonwoven is suitable for use in an absorbent article, in particular as acquisition layer between an absorbent core and the topsheet.
