Vending machine for retaining and dispensing products
An apparatus for dispensing a product is provided, the apparatus including a housing for retaining a first dispensable product, the housing having a storage rack configured to hold the first dispensable product; a weight movably positioned within the storage rack, the weight being configured to exert a downward force on the first dispensable product; a coin assembly having a first coin slot, the coin assembly being configured to receive a coin; and a pushbutton associated with the coin assembly, the pushbutton being configured, upon activation, to cause the coin assembly to move from a first position to a second position after a coin has been placed within the first coin slot; and wherein the housing is configured to dispense the first dispensable product when the coin assembly is within the second position.
Discrete device and method for feminine hygiene
A feminine product carrier is configured to hold tampons and other products within individual recesses. Sensors monitoring occupancy of the recesses cause a graphic interface on a computing device of the user, such as a smartphone, to depict which of the plurality of recesses is occupied and which is empty. A transceiver engaged to the carrier will provide a graphic depiction of a location of the carrier and initiate a warning when the carrier is determined to be not proximate to the location of the user.
Tampons made of non-woven fabric
Tampons and production methods are provided that provide tampons made of at least 80% cellulose-based fibers, such as cotton or viscose, without plastic top sheets. The tampons consist of cylindrically-compressed rolled strips of entangled non-woven fabric and may be made of 100% natural cellulose-based fibers, the fabric having a tensile strength that is larger than 10N/50 mm. The fabric may be folded longitudinally in various folding configurations and rolled transversely before compression to tampon dimensions.
APPARATUS AND METHOD TO DISPENSE FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS USING A MOTION SENSOR
A dispenser of feminine hygiene products, including feminine pads and tampons activated by a motion sensor. A motion of a person's hand or other object within a given distance from the motion sensor will close an electronic circuit causing a motor to rotate. The motor is attached to a shaft which rotates. The shaft retains a feminine product dispenser. The feminine product dispenser transports one of the feminine hygiene products to a retrieval tray. A time delay reduces the likelihood of or prevents someone from continuously activating the motion sensor to dispense all of the products in the machine.
RECYCLABLE PACKAGES
The present disclosure is directed to a package configured to receive one or more absorbent articles. The package comprises a package material comprising natural fibers. The package comprises a plurality of panels comprising a consumer-facing panel and a back panel having one or more wicket holes in a portion thereof. The package is configured to be sealed such that the one or more absorbent articles are enclosed therein. The back panel comprises a first chamfered side edge and a second chamfered side edge in an area proximate to the one or more wicket holes. The package material comprises a barrier film layer disposed on an inner surface of the package material. The package is recyclable.
Reclosable package and a method of making the same
A flexible reclosable package contains disposable and compressed consumer products. The package has a hexahedral shape with a top panel, a bottom panel, a front panel, a back panel, a left side panel and a right side panel. A hooded portion defines the top panel, a portion of the front panel, a portion of the first right side panel portion and a portion of the first left side panel portion. A pleated portion is provided adjacent to the hooded portion and extends from a first side panel seam to a second side panel seam. A first line of weakness, which is not visible from the exterior of the package when the package closed, is provided in the pleated portion. The flexible reclosable package can be converted from a closed configuration to an open configuration upon opening the package along the line of weakness.
CASE FOR HYGIENIC TAMPONS
A case (1) for hygienic tampons including an elongated housing (2) inside which a gutter-shaped rail (3) with at least one slot (4) for a single hygienic tampon is placed. Each tampon slot (4) in the rail (3) is provided with an opening that makes it easier to remove the tampon by inserting a finger and pushing the tampon out of it. A plug (5) with a handle is attached to the rail (3).
Tampon Disposal Packaging
A tampon disposal packaging that can be used to secure both an un-used and used tampon has a wrapper body and an adhesive strip. The wrapper body has a primary wrapping layer, a secondary wrapping layer, and a sealable perimeter. In a first configuration, the primary wrapping layer is folded over to encase the secondary wrapping layer, the adhesive strip, and a tampon, wherein the sealable perimeter secures the edges of the primary wrapping layer together. The primary wrapping layer has a pocket portion that forms a pocket in conjunction with the secondary wrapping layer, allowing for the disposal of the tampon once the primary wrapping layer has been opened. Further, the primary wrapping layer has a flap portion to which the adhesive strip is connected. The flap portion can be folded over the secondary wrapping layer in order to close the pocket and secure the tampon within the pocket.
MENSTRUAL TAMPON CASE
Problem to be solved: protecting a menstrual tampon (2) from mechanical damage, from contamination and moisture, and the problem with carrying it discreetly. Solution to the problem: a case (1) for tampons (2) consisting of a rigid body, inside of which there is stored at least a single row of tampons (2) arranged in parallel, provided at the bottom closed end (4) with a dispensing means acting on the outer tampon (2) of the row of tampons (2) and is provided at the open top end (5) with a holder (6) for retaining the tampon (2) in the top end (5) for easy and gradual removal.
