Methods and apparatuses for manufacturing multiple different articles are provided. One apparatus embodiment includes a first intravaginal article assembly module; a second intravaginal article assembly module; and an applicator module capable of receiving and handling applicators suitable for both first intravaginal articles from the first intravaginal article assembly module and second intravaginal articles from the second intravaginal article assembly module. The apparatus only operates with one of the first intravaginal article assembly module and the second intravaginal article assembly module at one time. The first intravaginal articles are absorbent articles and the second intravaginal articles are non-absorbent articles.

A disposable sanitary pad to removably attach with an undergarment of a user for absorbing the body fluids and cleansing proposes includes a central pad portion having a number absorbent layers and a fluid pervious layer attached to a fluid impervious flexible base using an attachment means. An exterior surface of the fluid impervious flexible base is provided with adhesive strips at a top, bottom, and center portion and at corners to allow the users to attach the disposable sanitary pad by longitudinally covering the crotch area of the undergarment. A pair of flexible wings having adhesives is attached to side portions of the fluid impervious flexible base to maintain a laterally stretched position of the disposable sanitary pad covering the crotch area of the undergarment. A pouch having deodorized wet wipes is removably attached to the central pad portion for handling and disposal of the disposable sanitary pad with hygienic after use.

A diaper-wipe-pad kit includes a disposable diaper, a packet of at least one disposable wipe, a disposable changing pad and a pouch. The disposable diaper, the packet of at least one disposable wipe and the disposable changing pad are placed in the pouch. The disposable diaper and the disposable changing pad are folded so that the diaper-wipe-pad kit has dimensions that are no greater than 7.55.52 except for tab portions extending beyond outer seams of the pouch.

A case (1) for hygienic tampons including an elongated housing (2) inside which a gutter-shaped rail (3) with at least one slot (4) for a single hygienic tampon is placed. Each tampon slot (4) in the rail (3) is provided with an opening that makes it easier to remove the tampon by inserting a finger and pushing the tampon out of it. A catamenial tampon product combines a catamenial tampon and a personal hygiene cleansing wipe in one convenient package. The personal hygiene cleansing wipe is contained in an individual sealed package. The catamenial tampon product includes a pouch that contains the catamenial tampon. In some embodiments, the personal hygiene cleansing wipe is also contained within the pouch. Some embodiments of the catamenial tampon product have an opening that is covered by an adhesive panel or a closure flap.

A multi-compartment package (MCP) for feminine hygiene products is disclosed. The MCP may be configured to provide both a feminine hygiene pad and a sanitary wipe in the same package. The MCP may be opened to reveal respective internal compartments for the feminine hygiene pad and a sanitary wipe. These compartments may be separated by way of a compartment divider. Such a configuration may keep a feminine hygiene pad in a desired dry state while still providing a moistened sanitary wipe. An MCP may alleviate the necessity of carrying separate containers for each type of product, instead providing both in a single form factor.
