The photoconversion layer can include a partition portion and a receiving portion that are alternately arranged, and the receiving portion can include suspended particles. The first electrode can include a first auxiliary electrode disposed on a first area of the first substrate and a second auxiliary electrode disposed on a second area of the first substrate.

A technique, comprising: providing a pixelated display unit comprising an array of pixels, wherein the optical output for each pixel is independently controllable; applying a first color filter overlay to a viewing surface of said pixelated display unit, said first color filter overlay defining a first color pattern including one or more areas of a single color continuously extending over a plurality of pixels; operating said pixelated display unit to produce regions of differing brightnesses within said first color pattern; peeling said first color filter overlay from said viewing surface of said display unit; applying a second color filter overlay to said viewing surface of said display unit, said second color filter overlay defining a second color pattern including one or more areas of a single color continuously extending over a plurality of pixels; and operating said pixelated display unit to produce regions of differing brightnesses within said second color pattern.

A display panel includes a display layer and two electrophoresis layers; the display layer is located between the two electrophoresis layers; the display layer has two display surfaces; each of the two electrophoresis layers comprises a plurality of electrophoresis units, and states of the electrophoresis units include transparent state and non-transparent state. The display panel can implement single-side display, two-side display and completely-transparent display and has a simple structure, thereby leading to a reduced thickness.

A color display device includes a substrate, a pixel structure, a color filter array, and a display medium layer. The pixel structure is deposed on the substrate and includes pixel sub-structures. The color filter array includes filter elements, each of which corresponding to one of the pixel sub-structures. At least some of the filter elements are formed from two kinds of the color materials of different color. The display medium layer is deposed on the pixel structure. A light path control member according to an embodiment comprises: a first substrate including an effective area and an ineffective area; a first electrode disposed on the first substrate; a second substrate disposed on the first substrate and including an effective area and an ineffective area; a second electrode disposed under the second substrate; and a light conversion unit disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The light conversion unit includes an alternating arrangement of partition wall parts and reception parts. A first hole passing through the first substrate is formed in at least one of the effective area or the ineffective area of the first substrate. A second hole passing through the first substrate is formed in at least one of the effective area or the ineffective area of the second substrate. A first connection electrode is disposed in the first hole, and a second connection electrode is disposed in the second hole.

An optical path control member according to an embodiment comprises: a first substrate; a first electrode disposed on the first substrate; an optical conversion part disposed on the first electrode; a second substrate disposed on the first substrate; a second electrode disposed below the second substrate; and an adhesive layer disposed between the optical conversion part and second electrode. The optical conversion part comprises partition parts and accommodation parts which are alternately disposed. The accommodation parts comprise a dispersion liquid and optical conversion particles. The light transmittance of the accommodation parts changes in accordance with the application of voltage, and the driving speed measured by 85% reach time is less than 6 seconds.

A color filter array includes a first color resist having a first color, a second color resist having a second color different from the first color, and a third color resist having a second color different from the first color and the second color. The first color resist includes multiple sections. The second color resist includes multiple sections. The third color resist includes multiple sections. When viewed in a plan view, the sections of the first color resist collectively arranged as a continuous S shape, the sections of the second color resist collectively arranged as a continuous S shape, and the sections of the third color resist collectively arranged as a continuous S shape.

The present disclosure relates to a display device including a pixel portion in which sub-pixels are disposed and at least one transparent portion which is disposed around the pixel portion and transmits external light therethrough, wherein the pixel portion may include first to fourth extension parts which extend in different directions and include wirings, and may include first to fourth circuit parts which are disposed between the adjacent extension parts and include circuit elements of each of the sub-pixels.
Display device
A display device includes a plurality of light emitting units and a light adjusting layer disposed on the light emitting units. The light adjusting layer includes at least one light adjusting structure, and one light adjusting structure is corresponding to at least three of the light emitting units. The display device provides a sum of viewing-angles of a first number of the light emitting units when the first number of the light emitting units is turned on, and the display device provides a sum of viewing-angles of a second number of the light emitting units when the second number of the light emitting units is turned on. The first number is less than the second number, and the sum of viewing-angles of the first number of the light emitting units is less than the sum of viewing-angles of the second number of the light emitting units.
