Protective garments and methods for using same
Disclosed herein are protective garments and methods for using the same. In one aspect, the garment includes a garment body configured to be worn on a portion of a wearer's body, the garment body comprising at least one protective segment configured to block a predetermined level of radiation. Also disclosed herein are method of making the disclosed garments and methods for using the disclosed garments.
Compressive garment having an outer layer
A garment includes a substantially seamless base layer made from a compressive material, an outer layer positioned outward of at least a portion of the compressive material, and seam tape coupling the outer layer to the base layer. The outer layer is configured to cover less than an entire circumference of a wearer of the garment, and the base layer extends around at least a portion of the circumference not covered by the outer layer. For example, the outer layer may not cover a wearer's lateral thigh region, minimizing the availability of non-taut material in that region that may be subject to easier grabbing or manipulation by an opponent.
Men's & Women's Activewear
The Active Wear Exercise Garment, for men and women, can be worn alone or under clothing, and has various features. The Top section, which supports the breast and chest area, is constructed with fabric that has a plurality of densities with integrated elasticity, such as LYCRA®, spandex, or knit fabric. The Mid to Lower Top section, the Pant section, and the abdomen Wrap are constructed with a four way multi-functional fabric, such as neoprene or similar fabric, and provides multiple benefits to the wearer all at once. These benefits include water weight loss, moisture management, body support, odor control, comfort, and flexibility. The Side Panels have the same fabric as the Top section such as LYCRA®, spandex, or knit fabric, and provides extra support, ease of ingress and egress of the garment, room for the body to decrease or expand, extra breathability so that the body does not overheat, extra comfort and flexibility, provides moisture wicking and quick drying support, and extends from the under arm section to the bottom of the garment.
Engineered knit with multi-density knit zone
A knitted element may include at least three zones. The first zone may include terry loop knitting. The second zone may include mesh knitting. The third zone may include jersey knitting. The knitted element may include at least one seamless transition between the first zone and the second zone, or between the first zone and the third zone so that terry loop knitting is continuous with either the mesh knitting or the jersey knitting. The first zone, the second zone, and the third zone may each include wool knitting. The terry loop knitting may be adapted to provide warmth in areas where it is needed, while the mesh knitting may be adapted to provide breathability in areas where it is needed. The jersey knitting may provide an intermediate level of warmth and breathability.

Smart garment, user terminal, system including same, and method of changing design of smart garment
The disclosed embodiments provide a smart garment on which implemented designs can be changed in terms of color, image, text, etc. Also, a system is provided that comprises: a server for providing various designs to be implemented on a smart garment; and a user terminal that can change the design of the smart garment by receiving various designs from the server and transmitting same to the smart garment. The system according to the disclosed embodiments comprises: a server including a design database for a smart garment; a user terminal for downloading a design for the smart garment from the server; and the smart garment on which the design transmitted from the user terminal is implemented.
Elastic Strap for Apparel Use
A method of combining an auxiliary with a garment includes providing a garment that has an elastic strap attached to it, so that the garment and strap can cooperate to hold the garment in place on a person wearing the garment. The strap has a length with a perforation positioned along the strap length. Tension is applied to stretch the strap to enlarge the perforation, and a solid item that is tethered to an auxiliary is inserted into the stretched perforation. Releasing the tension on the strap so the enlarged perforation resumes an unenlarged size retains the tethered solid item and its tethered auxiliary attached to the strap.
Shoe or apparel with additive manufactured element
A shoe or apparel, including a first material layer with a first plurality of protrusions, a flexible layer with a plurality of apertures, and a second material layer. The flexible layer is positioned between the first material layer and the second material layer. Each protrusion of the first plurality of protrusions of the first material layer extends through at least one aperture of the plurality of apertures of the flexible layer and is connected to the second material layer. The flexible layer is not connected to the first material layer and the second material layer, and thereby can freely move between the first material layer and the second material layer.
Improvements To Garments For Use In Water And Method Of Manufacture Of The Same
A garment for use by a person when in a body of water, such as a sea, river or lake. The garment is of the type known as a wetsuit or drysuit which, when worn, provides protection and warmth for at least the torso, arms and legs of a wearer. A method of forming the garment having seams which allow an effective seal to be achieved between adjacent panels of the garment and, as a result, an effective garment to be formed.
