COTTON-LIKE KNITTED FABRIC, POLYESTER FILAMENT AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides a cotton-like knitted fabric, a polyester filament and a production method. The fabric is a weft-knitted fabric obtained by material containing at least above 45% by weight of polyester filaments; the pore area distribution of the fabric is centered on 6000 to 22000 m.sup.2 and has a statistical variability of above 2a, and the coefficient of variation of the pore area is greater than 40%. The polyester filament is formed from alternatingly arranged twist regions in a false-twist direction and twist regions in an opposite direction, wherein the twist regions in the false-twist direction have an average length of less than 0.3 cm, a coefficient of variation of length of above 60%, a diameter that is 30% to 70% of the diameter of the twist regions in the opposite direction, and a total length that is 20.0% to 40.0% of the total length of the polyester filaments.
Modular attachment system and method
Modular attachment systems comprising an interwoven material matrix which comprises a plurality of loops and one or more modular attachment accessories, each of which comprises a coupling mechanism for attaching the modular attachment accessory to one or more of the plurality of loops of the interwoven material matrix, are disclosed.
Load-supporting garment
The disclosed load-supporting garment is a safer and more effective way to carry equipment. For example, the system enables a more even distribution of gear and its accompanying weight around the body. An example load-supporting garment may include a plurality of woven grid panels, with two or more front panels and two or more rear panels, and a back boning panel attached to the two or more rear panels. Each of the plurality of woven grid panels may include a plurality of horizontal fabric bands that are perpendicular to a plurality of vertical fabric bands. The plurality of horizontal and vertical fabric bands may alternatingly overlap. This may define a woven grid.
GARMENT SYSTEM WITH INTERLOCKING PANELS
A garment and/or garment kit is disclosed that includes a first panel having a first interior portion, a first outer edge that extends about the first interior portion, and a plurality of first interlocking members movably connected to the first panel and extending radially outwardly relative to the first interior portion toward the first outer edge of the first panel. The garment and/or garment kit includes a second panel having a second interior portion, a second outer edge that extends about the second interior portion, and a plurality of second interlocking members movably connected to the second panel and extending radially outwardly relative to the second interior portion toward the second outer edge of the second panel. One of the plurality of first interlocking members is interlocked with one of the plurality of second interlocking members to connect the first and second panels to each other.
CLOTH AND FIBROUS PRODUCT
An object is to provide a cloth having excellent air permeability changing function due to wetness and dimensional stability and a fibrous product, and means for achieving the object is to obtain a cloth using a conjugate fiber having two components conjugated side by side and a crimped fiber having a torque of 30 T/m or less.
TEXTILE REPURPOSING AND SUSTAINABLE GARMENT DESIGN
This disclosure addresses a problem in relation to the environmental destruction that excessive apparel production can produce. In various embodiments, existing textile products are deconstructed into pieces of fabric and then reassembled into apparel in a manner that creates minimal or zero waste. In some embodiments, the fabric pieces will be positioned inside of one or more pattern pieces so as to completely cover each one without overlapping its border. The positioned pieces will be treated with an adhesive and then have a paper layer adhered to it to hold the positioned fabric pieces in place while they are stitched together. Then, the resulting sandwich will be soaked to remove the paper and dissolve the adhesive. The resulting unified fabric component will then be available to be stitched together with other similarly formed fabric components to form a garment.
Men's and Women's Active Wear Exercise Apparel
The Active Wear Exercise Garment, for men and women, can be worn alone or under clothing, and has various features. The Top section, which supports the breast and chest area, is constructed with fabric that has a plurality of densities with integrated elasticity, such as lycra, spandex, or knit fabric. The Mid to Lower Top section, the Pant section, and the abdomen Wrap are constructed with a four way multi-functional fabric, such as neoprene or similar fabric, and provides multiple benefits to the wearer all at once. These benefits include water weight loss, moisture management, body support, odor control, comfort, and flexibility. The Side Panels have the same fabric as the Top section such as lycra, spandex, or knit fabric, and provides extra support, ease of ingress and egress of the garment, room for the body to decrease or expand, extra breathability so that the body does not overheat, extra comfort and flexibility, provides moisture wicking and quick drying support, and extends from the under arm section to the bottom of the garment.
CHAIN MAIL, NOTABLY FOR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Disclosed is a chain mail constituted of a lattice of interlinked metal rings, in particular for personal protective equipment. The chain mail rings are made using a stainless steel wire whereof the mechanical tensile strength (Rm) is between 1,600 and 2,550 N/mm.sup.2, limits included.
Color Scheme Manipulation Technolgy
A color-changing auxiliary system comprising; a color-modifiable material, a pigment pump, and a control mechanism, are in communication allowing for color customization of household, wearable, or any other material in which color is seen. A pigment pump containing a plurality of pigment reserves with selectable colors works to mix and pump pigments into a channel of the color-customizable material. A channel is defined as a base layer with a translucent top layer, with sealable inlets and outlets to retain pigment. The pigment pump is reversible in order to pump pigments from the color-customizable material as well as flush remaining pigments in the channel. A touchscreen control is in communication with the device and allows for a user to control the color, amount, and final design of pigments within the material.
