Shutter device and image-capturing device
A shutter device includes: a first light shielding member disposed at a position further frontward relative to an image-capturing surface of an image sensor, which blocks a light flux from a subject by traveling along a predetermined direction of travel; and a second light shielding member disposed at a position further frontward relative to the image-capturing surface of the image sensor, which blocks the light flux by traveling along the direction of travel, wherein: at least either a length of a light shielding range of the first light shielding member, measured along the direction of travel, or a length of a light shielding range of the second light shielding member, measured along the direction of travel, is smaller than a length of the image-capturing surface along the direction of travel.

FOCAL PLANE SHUTTER, AND IMAGING DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH SAME
A focal plane shutter has a front blade and a rear blade for opening/closing an exposure opening formed in a shutter base plate; a front blade first driving member that is coupled to the front blade and a rear blade first driving member that is coupled to the rear blade; and a first electromagnetic actuator for driving the front blade first driving member and a second electromagnetic actuator for driving the rear blade first driving member.
FOCAL-PLANE SHUTTER, AND IMAGING DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS COMPRISING FOCAL-PLANE SHUTTER
A focal-plane shutter that has a shutter base plate that has an opening; a shutter blade that opens/closes the opening; a blade arm that pivotally supports the shutter blade; and a blade drive member that has a drive pin that is connected to the blade arm. The blade drive member rotates the blade arm so as to drive the shutter blade. The blade arm has a connection hole into which the drive pin is inserted; and a restriction member that is between an inner circumferential surface of the connection hole and an outer circumferential surface of the drive pin and that restricts the movement of the drive pin inside the connection hole.
IMAGING DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING IMAGING DEVICE
There are provided an imaging device and a method of controlling the imaging device that can shorten the blackout period of a live view image in a case where a front curtain and a rear curtain are moved to continuously take static images. In a case where continuous shooting is performed, a focal-plane shutter is shifted to a normally open state to allow a live view image to be displayed during the continuous shooting. A front curtain-electromagnet and a rear curtain-electromagnet are excited to prevent the rotational movement of a second front curtain-drive lever and a second rear curtain-drive lever in a first direction after the focal-plane shutter is shifted to the normally open state; first curtain travel preparation for causing the second front curtain-drive lever and the rear curtain-drive lever to be moved to non-charge positions from charge positions is performed to release the prevention of the travel of the front curtain in a closing direction, which is performed by the front curtain-locking lever, from a point of time later than a point of time when the first curtain travel preparation is to be started; and second curtain travel preparation for causing the front curtain to travel in the closing direction to fully close an exposure aperture portion is performed.
Shutter unit and image pickup apparatus
A shutter unit includes a base plate having an opening, a first blade member movable between a closed state and a retracted state, a first driving member biased by a first biasing member, a second driving member biased by a second biasing member, a first charging member configured to cause the first driving member to move in the second direction against a biasing force, a second charging member configured to cause the second driving member to move in the first direction against a biasing force, and a motor configured to supply a driving force to the first and second charging members. In a case where the first charging member causes the first driving member to move, the motor rotates in a direction opposite to a rotation direction in a case where the second charging member causes the second driving member to move.
Shutter apparatus, image pickup apparatus, and control method for the shutter apparatus
A shutter apparatus includes a motor, a cam gear, a driving member, and a blade group. A cam part includes a blade maintaining section configured to maintain one of an open state and a closed state of the blade group when a cam follower slides, and a blade driving section. Where the cam follower slides in the blade maintaining section and the blade driving section in this order, the motor is driven in the micro step driving mode when the cam follower slides in the blade maintaining section, and the motor is driven in the full step driving mode when the cam follower slides in the blade driving section.

Focal-plane shutter, and imaging device and electronic equipment that are provided therewith
A focal plane shutter has a base plate with an opening; a leading and trailing blade opening and closing the opening; a leading blade driver; a trailing blade driver; a charging portion; a braking member; and a brake driver. The leading blade driver drives the leading blade through a first biasing force of a first biasing member and drives the leading blade through a second biasing force of a second biasing member. The trailing blade driver drives the trailing blade by a third biasing force of a third biasing member. The charging portion applies the second biasing force to the second biasing member and applies the third biasing force to the third biasing member. The braking member brakes the leading blade through friction and the brake driver moves the braking member to brake the leading blade, independently of the leading blade driver, the trailing blade driver, and the charging portion.
