ABSORBENT ARTICLE HAVING FASTENING SYSTEM
A fastening member includes a base substrate and one or more engagement portions disposed on the base substrate. The one or more engagement portions comprise a first engagement portion. The engagement portions each comprise one or more hooks. The fastening member comprises a fold line and the fold line is at least partially disposed within the first engagement portion.

MALE INCONTINENCE GUARD, KIT, AND METHOD
A male incontinence guard including a fluid-impermeable backsheet, a fluid-permeable topsheet, and an absorbent body arranged between said backsheet and said topsheet is disclosed. The guard includes first and second fold lines along which side regions of the article can be folded to cover at least a portion of the absorbent surface of the article. Additional fold lines may be provided to facilitate folding of a lower end region over the first and second side regions. Fastening material is provided to secure the article in the folded configuration. Also, an associated method of manufacturing and a kit comprising an incontinence guard.
Molded surface fastener manufacturing method
This manufacturing method of a molded surface fastener involves a primary molding step for forming a primary molded body and a secondary molding step for compressing a provisional element of the primary molded body while heating the same. A molding apparatus is provided with a mold member comprising multiple penetration holes and multiple concave portions, whereof each penetration hole communicates to at least one concave portion; in the primary molding step, the molding apparatus is used to form a primary molded body comprising a provisional element having a primary stem portion and a pawl portion is formed from the protruded portion by compressing the provisional element. By this means, it is possible to stably manufacture a molded surface fastener that has an engaging element comprising a pawl portion that projects from the outer peripheral edge of an engaging head portion.
REUSABLE DIAPER
A reusable diaper has an outer liquid resistant layer having a front waist portion, an elongated back waist portion and a crotch portion therebetween, an inner layer attached to the outer layer, and a plurality of first fasteners arranged along the front waist portion of the outer liquid resistant layer. The front waist portion is divided into a plurality of visually different sections each having at least one of the first fasteners thereon. Each section sandwiching a central section of the front waist portion can have a different color or surface pattern than that of the central section. Each section sandwiching that section and the central section therebetween has a still further different color or surface pattern. Each section corresponds to a predetermined diaper fitting size when one or more complementary second fasteners on ends of the elongated back waist portion engages a corresponding ones of the front waist portion first fasteners.
Diaper band with central inner-facing hook fabric and secure rear hook and loop fabric closure
A diaper band for ensuring that a toddler cannot remove a diaper secured thereby. The diaper band has central inner-facing hook fabric that can be attached to the fabric on the front of a typical diaper (disposable or reusable). The diaper band also has ends bearing hook and loop material that are securable to the back of the diaper behind the back of the toddler, to ensure that the toddler cannot detach the diaper band. The diaper band securely covers the attachment tabs of the diaper, so that the toddler cannot undo the diaper tabs. The central inward-facing hook fabric can be one or more material patches that are big enough to grab onto the front fabric of the diaper, the same front fabric for attaching the diaper tabs. Alternatively, the central inward-facing hook material region can extend along the entire length of the diaper band.
RETAINING DEVICE, ABSORBENT ITEM COMPRISING SUCH A DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH A DEVICE
Retainer device comprising a base extending along a longitudinal direction and a plurality of retainer elements extending from the upper face of the base, each retainer element having a value according to a first geometric dimension. The retainer device has at least two retainer zones and an intermediate zone disposed between the two retainer zones and connecting the two retainer zones, the retainer elements disposed in the first and second retainer zones having values according to the first geometric dimension which are greater than the values according to the first geometric dimension of the retainer elements disposed in the intermediate zone.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH BODY CONFORMING STRUCTURE
An absorbent article has a top sheet, a back sheet, and an absorbent assembly positioned between the back sheet and the top sheet. The absorbent article includes a fluid intake layer positioned between the absorbent assembly and the top sheet. The fluid intake layer has a rearward-facing arch located in a back portion of the fluid intake layer. The fluid intake layer has an opening. The absorbent article includes a first lateral stiffener and a second lateral stiffener extending along a majority of the longitudinal side edges of the fluid intake layer. The absorbent article includes a first flexure, a second flexure, and a third flexure in a rear portion of the absorbent article.
Method and Apparatus for Bonding Substrates
The present disclosure relates to methods for bonding first and second substrates together with tackifier free adhesives. The tackifier free adhesive may be applied to the second substrate to define an adherence zone. The first substrate is positioned on the adherence zone of the second substrate to define a first region and a second region of the adherence zone. In the first region, the tackifier free adhesive is positioned between the first substrate and the second substrate. In the second region, the tackifier free adhesive may or may not be positioned between the first substrate and the second substrate, and may not bond the first substrate with the second substrate. Thus, tackifier free adhesive may be applied to the second substrate to create an adherence zone defining a relatively large area that permits the placement of the first substrate thereon without the need to completely cover the adherence zone.
Tape-type absorbent article with belt structure
A method for providing successive individual combination belt structures each comprising a fastening component includes providing a machine-direction continuous strip of web material having a pair of machine-direction outer side edges, opposing side margin portions, and a cross-direction width therebetween. The web material is conveyed along the machine direction to fastening component process equipment to continuously affix successive fastening components to the web material. The web material is conveyed to cross-direction cutting equipment to cut individual combination front belt structures from the web material along predominately cross-direction cut lines.
