20170221397 · 2017-08-03 ·

An underwater image projection system submerged in a body of water and projecting an image within the body of water. The system includes a submerged projection element, a light source steering device, a user interface, and a controller. The submerged projecting element includes a projecting light source that projects an image within the body of water. The light source steering device directs light from the projecting light source. The user interface receives data input from a user including at least one of an input of the image and instructions for displaying the image. The controller retrieves the data input from the user interface, accesses image data corresponding to the image, and controls the projecting light source and the light source steering device to project the image onto a target surface within the body of water based on the data input from the user interface.

VARIABLE SCREEN SYSTEM

The present invention relates to a variable screen system for providing audience with more enhanced immersion by having a content image projected on a screen that is in the shape of a curved surface. More particularly, the present invention relates to a variable screen system comprising: a support for fixing a frame on which a screen is formed; and a theater server for controlling the support and thereby changing the curvatures of the frame or the screen formed on the frame.

The present invention is an improvement in glasses-free autostereoscopic three dimensional image viewing systems. In particular, it comprises transmissive front projection and reflective rear projection screens with high optical efficiency and precision that facilitate the use of multiple low-cost digital projectors to display multiple perspective views of the displayed scene in well defined virtual apertures in the viewing region. In certain applications the invention facilitates indefinitely wide three dimensional displays that accommodate large groups of observers.

SCREEN-HOLDING STRUCTURE TO PREVENT SAGGING SCREEN PHENOMENON

The present invention relates to a screen-holding structure, and more specifically to a screen-holding structure to withstand the weight of the screen by means of a screen holding apparatus for the entire region or a part of the screen to prevent the phenomenon in which a screen held by a frame sags downward due to the weight of the screen. According to the present invention, the curved surface of the screen can be smoothly maintained by minimizing the downward sagging phenomena of the curved screen, thereby allowing content image to be projected onto the screen without distortion, and consequently allowing a viewing environment having a high sense of immersion and enhanced stereoscopic effect to be provided to an audience.

CURVED SCREEN SUPPORT AND THEATER COMPRISING SAME

The present invention relates to a curved screen support comprising a plurality of vertical bars arranged vertically from the ground, and a plurality of horizontal bars attached to the vertical bars at one end in the horizontal direction with respect to the ground, wherein horizontal bars are characterized in that the line connecting the other ends of the horizontal bars arranged on the same vertical axis has a curved shape of a set curvature, and the line connecting the other ends of the horizontal bars arranged on the same horizontal axis has a curved shape of set curvature. Therefore, according to the present invention, a curved screen having a curvature along the horizontal axis as well as the vertical axis can be stably held, and by controlling the curvature and angle of the curved screen, enhanced life-like effects can be provided to an audience.

SCREEN HAVING TWO OR MORE SCREEN REGIONS WITH DIFFERING SCREEN REFLECTANCE VALUES

The present invention relates to a screen, and more specifically to a screen, to which a content images are projected, comprising screen regions each having a mutually different reflectance. According to the present invention, with respect to implementing a screen having a non-flat surface, as the content images can be projected onto all screen regions while maintaining uniform brightness, an audience can be provided with a content viewing environment by means of screens having a variety of shapes, while satisfactorily maintaining the quality of the of the projected a content images.
