A disposable hygiene article having an absorbent core with a first region which has its narrowest width (M) in the transverse direction (x) in a front portion or at a location of a transition between the front portion and a crotch portion of the article. The absorbent core comprises a high-density first region and a low density second region. The absorbent core in the crotch region has first and second rear compression lines. The compression lines mutually diverge in a direction towards the core front edge. Each line has a diverging angle (.sub.2; .sub.3) of from 15-60 with respect to a centre line (A). The second region has an average density which is at least 20% lower than the average density of the first region.

The present application relates generally to diaper accessories, and specifically to changing platforms and disposal bins. The disposal bin of the present application includes an outer housing, the outer housing configured to receive an inner bin and the outer housing including a deposit opening through which a disposal item may be introduced into the outer housing. The disposal bin further includes an inner bin received in the outer housing and defining an inner bin opening for receiving a disposal item when the disposal item is deposited through the deposit opening of the outer housing. The changing platform of the present application includes a core and at least one extension portion being reconfigurable between a collapsed portable configuration and a deployed configuration in which the changing platform is extended to increase the size of a changing surface. A related method of deploying a change table is also described.

A person may be placed atop the changing pad during changing out from the used undergarment to a new or clean undergarment. The changing pad may be used as a disposal package for the outer package, used undergarment and the one or more changing items.

The pocket (64) can be closed with respect to the absorbent assembly (44) at least at the first side edge (70) and the second side edge (72) and can be open with respect to the absorbent assembly (44) at least at the lower lateral edge (76). In one embodiment, at least a portion of the upper lateral edge (74) can be closer to the front waist edge (22) of the absorbent article (10) than is the first end edge (40) of the absorbent body (34).

A soiled undergarment disposal container is provided. The soiled undergarment disposal container includes a bag for housing a soiled undergarment and a sealable closure for sealing the bag. A resizing mechanism including a one-way degassing valve is provided to extract air from the bag, when sealed, upon application of a force on the bag by a user, and a plurality of studs each sized and shaped to fit into and close an air extraction aperture of the one-way degassing valve. The position and shape of the studs provides multiple sizing options for securing the folded or rolled sealed bag containing different soiled undergarment products. The bag in a compact state is configured for concealed transport of the soiled undergarment under or within a user's clothing, and/or within a user's handbag, purse, bag.

Personal hygiene article and container for the same

A personal hygiene article includes a chassis with a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent component between the topsheet and the backsheet. At least one portion of the personal hygiene article includes a microporous film having an opaque, microporous region and at least one see-through region of lower porosity within the opaque, microporous region. The microporous film can include a beta-nucleating agent or can have thermally induced phase separation caused by a diluent. A container includes a microporous film enclosing at least one personal hygiene article. The microporous film has an opaque, microporous region and at least one see-through region of lower porosity forming a window within the opaque, microporous region. Methods of making the personal hygiene article and container are also described.

Contrary to packagings or bottles made of pure materials like PET, nonwovens usually consist of a mix of materials and are as such difficult to include in a recycling process. The present invention relates to a method for recycling polyester-based nonwovens comprising 5 to 50% of PET/coPET low melt staple fibers into polyester staple fibers (PSF), and further including these fibers into new nonwovens for a large variety of articles for applications in virtually any technical field.

The sticker includes a pair of envelopes useful for retaining baby wipes and a disposal bag. The adhesive layer includes a non-adhesive strip that is removable to exposed an adhesive component such that the elongated sticker is attachable to an outside of a diaper. The envelope containing the baby wipes is adhesively attachable to a front of the diaper, and the envelope containing the disposal bag is adhesively attachable to a rear of the diaper. Further, the baby diaper accessory of the present disclosure is scented to mask the unpleasant odor when changing a baby's diaper.
