The maternal under garment includes an exterior layer having a waist opening and a pair of leg openings. An interior layer overlaps the exterior layer along a front panel and a rear panel of the garment. An upper perimeter of the front panel includes a V-shape, wherein a nadir of the V-shape is centrally positioned on the front panel to comfortably rest below a stomach area of a woman. The maternal under garment includes an adjustable waist band to retract as the stomach area becomes smaller postpartum. Multiple layers are disposed between the interior and exterior layer, such as an absorbent layer for absorbing postpartum bleeding, a cooling layer for soothing genitals during postpartum recovery, and an antibacterial layer for assisting with pain relief and the healing process after birth.
Fragrance composition and sanitary or incontinence article
A fragrance composition for use with a sanitary or incontinence article in the treatment of malodour caused by or associated with human body fluids, wherein said composition has an odour that is reminiscent of the odour of the article, as such, or the odour of the packaging material for said article, as such.
Chemiluminescent wetness indicator for absorbent products
Disclosed herein are fluff pulp compositions, absorbent articles comprising the fluff pulp compositions, and related methods. The fluff pulp compositions comprise a chemiluminescent system configured to produce visible light upon contact with an aqueous system. Representative absorbent articles include disposable diapers and adult incontinence products. Representative chemiluminescent systems include bioluminescent systems.
LIQUID- AND SWAB-BASED COLLECTION DEVICES FOR COLLECTING AND PRESERVING BIOLOGICAL MATERIAL
A collection device for collecting and preserving biological material. A longitudinal shaft is provided with a proximal end and a distal end. An absorbent solid matrix having at least one layer of chemically impregnated filter paper is affixed to the distal end of the shaft. The absorbent solid matrix consists of chemically impregnated filter paper and can have portions separated by perforations, or an inner core and a separable, overlapping outer layer. The absorbent solid matrix has a configuration that may include nubs, individual ribs, helical, filaments, and radial protrusions. Also disclosed is a tampon-like collection device for delivering an absorbent solid matrix.
Urine indication pad with inbuilt diagnostics for training and indication of potential disease
A training pad system for house training of a pet or toilet training of a juvenile human, includes a training pad with one or more diagnostic zones, each comprising one or more diagnostic test areas, optionally a pad cutout that matches a shape of a lower portion of a toilet, a urine indicator composition for visually indicating exposure to urine with a signal color, a liquid absorbing material, an antimicrobial agent, and adhesive surfaces; and a diagnostic decoding chart to interpret diagnostic results by lookup of corresponding test decoding areas.
Absorbent articles and methods of manufacturing the same
An absorbent article includes a chassis having a substantially rectangular shape a first portion, a second portion and a crotch portion extending between the first and second portion, a portion of the chassis being configured to absorb fluids. The absorbent article includes a first securement portion operatively coupled to the first portion of the chassis. The absorbent article includes a second securement portion operatively coupled to the second portion of the chassis and configured to releasably attach to the first securement portion. The chassis is configured to include one of a first chassis length or a second chassis length. When the chassis includes the first length, the chassis includes a first width and the first securement portion includes a second width, and when the chassis includes the second length, the chassis includes the first width and the first securement portion includes a third width, greater than the second width.
PACKAGED ABSORBENT ARTICLES
A package of one or more absorbent articles is disclosed. The package includes a packaging material. The packaging material including a polymeric film and an ink. The package also includes an absorbent article with a perfume composition, wherein the perfume composition has a perfume component and a carrier component.
