PHYSIOLOGICAL SENSING TEXTILE APPARATUS
A garment system comprises a garment substrate formed from one or more textile-based sheets, a distributed array of a plurality of resistive pressure sensors coupled to the garment substrate at a set of first specified locations. Each of the plurality of resistive sensors comprises a pair of first textile-based outer layers each having an electrical resistance of no more than 100 ohms and a textile-based inner layer sandwiched between the pair of first textile-based outer layers having an electrical resistance of at least 1 mega-ohm. The system also includes electronics configured to process signals from the distributed array of resistive pressure sensors to determine one or more physiological properties of a wearer of the garment substrate.

Water resistant protective wash garment
A protective wash garment for use by workers during washing operations is disclosed. The protective wash garment is comprises a two-layer construction in which the first layer is a water resistant material. The second layer is a high porosity material that is laid over the first layer. Water that comes into contact with the second layer passes through and is caught between the first and second layer. The water then falls to the bottom of the first layer into a gutter formed by folding a bottom flap of the first layer up. The bottom flap is folded such that the gutter runs at an angle to urge the water that falls into the gutter to flow to a lower end of the gutter. The lower end of the gutter is beyond the feet of the worker wearing the garment. Thus, water spayed upon the garment falls into the gutter and flows out away from the feet of the worker wearing the garment.
Barrier laminates and methods of making the same
Articles comprising an outer fabric layer and a laminate are provided. The laminate may include a barrier film layer and an inner fabric layer, in which the outer fabric layer at least partially encircles and overlies the laminate. The outer fabric layer comprises an outer fabric layer seal and the laminate comprises a laminate seal that is separate and distinct from the outer fabric seal. The articles may be devoid of any bonds between the outer fabric layer and the laminate.
Functional fabric and method for producing functional fabric
A functional fabric is formed by bonding a polyester synthetic resin film mixed with carbon black fine particles to a fabric, in which the synthetic resin film is non-porous and has a thickness of 10 μm to 20 μm. The functional fabric is produced by producing a polyester synthetic resin film mixed with carbon black fine particles and bonding the synthetic resin film to a fabric, and the produced functional fabric is entirely or partially bonded to an inner wear or an intermediate clothes to produce clothing.
Compression garment
A compression garment may generally include an upwardly disposed waist, a seat spaced apart from and connected to a pant front, the seat and the pant front connected to the waist, a single leg portion connected to the seat and the pant front and configured to receive a first leg of a wearer, and an opposing side portion connected to the seat and the pant front and including an aperture opposed to the waist and defined by distal edges of the seat and the pant front, and a compression portion circumferentially around at least a portion of the first leg of the wearer to exert therapeutic pressure on the first leg of the wearer when the compression garment is in use.

COLOR-CHANGING FABRIC AND APPLICATIONS
A color-changing product includes a fabric and a connection bus disposed along at least a portion of the fabric. The fabric includes a plurality of color-changing fibers. Each of the plurality of color-changing fibers has an electrically conductive core and a coating disposed around and along the electrically conductive core. The coating includes a color-changing pigment. The connection bus has a multi-layer structure including a metallic foil layer and a film layer. The metallic foil layer forms a weld between at least a subset of the plurality of color-changing fibers so that current can flow through the connection bus and into the electrically conductive core of at least the subset of the plurality of color-changing fibers. The film layer at least partially isolates the weld from a surrounding environment.
