The second detection processing portion detects whether or not any of the image forming units has an abnormality. The second release processing portion can release a regulation on attachment and detachment of two or more developer storage portions corresponding to two or more image forming units that include at least an image forming unit adjacent to the image forming unit detected to have the abnormality.

The first and second developing devices are configured to supply toner to the first and second photosensitive drums, respectively. The first and second supplying devices are formed with first and second supply ports through which the toner to be supplied to the first and second developing devices are provided, respectively. Both the first and second supplying ports are opened to outside the housing.

The first auger is rotatable upon receipt of a drive force from the photosensitive drum to convey the waste toner removed by the blade in the first direction. The second auger extends in a second direction crossing the first direction. The second auger is rotatable upon receipt of the driving force from the first auger to convey the waste toner conveyed by the first auger in the second direction.

An imaging system includes a toner transfer device, a leveling device and a glossing device. The toner transfer device transfers gloss toner to a surface of a medium. The leveling device levels a layer of the gloss toner on the surface of the medium. The glossing device performs a re-melting process and a cooling process on the medium after the layer of the gloss toner has been leveled.

The fusing temperature may be selected to heat the colorant-layer thermoplastic adhesive to a temperature greater than an activation temperature of the colorant-layer thermoplastic adhesive and/or an activation temperature of the adhesive-layer thermoplastic adhesive. The melting temperature, the fusing temperature, or melt flow rate of the colorant-layer thermoplastic adhesive corresponding to at least one of the one or more colorant layers may exceed the melting temperature, the fusing temperature, or the melt flow rate of the adhesive-layer thermoplastic adhesive.

The cam moves to: a first position at which first and second cartridges are attachable to and detachable from a housing; a second position at which a first development roller contacts a first photosensitive drum, the second position being a position at which the cam has moved in a first direction from the first position; and a third position at which the first development roller is separated from the first photosensitive drum and a second development roller is separated from a second photosensitive drum, the third position being a position at which the cam has moved in the first direction from the second position. During an initial operation, based on a detection result of the sensor, a controller determines which of the first position, the second position, and the third position the cam is located at.

There is provided image forming apparatus including: photosensitive member; developing roller configured to supply a developer to the photosensitive member; belt to which a developer image is to be transferred from the photosensitive member; sensor; and controller configured to execute a developing bias correcting process for correcting a developing bias to be applied to the developing roller. The developing bias correcting process includes: a setting process for setting testing biases, all of the testing biases being smaller than an old developing bias; a forming process for forming developer images on the belt by using the testing biases set in the setting process; a detecting process for detecting densities of the developer images formed in the forming process by the sensor; and a calculating process for calculating the developing bias based on the densities of the developer images detected in the detecting process.
