An example printing apparatus may include at least one linear guide disposed on a first surface of a back-spine section of a printer body and a top chassis portion coupled to the at least one linear guide. In some examples, the top chassis portion may include a laser safety casing. In some examples, the laser safety casing may comprise a laser module configured to emit a laser beam along a laser path and a safety cover that is moveable to a first cover position intersecting the laser path.

A light emitting device includes: a base plate extending in a first direction; a plurality of light emitting units arranged over a front surface of the base plate while being shifted from each other in the first direction, and each including a support body extending in the first direction and a plurality of light sources supported on the support body while being arranged in the first direction; a flow path disposed on a side of the base plate opposite to a side facing the light emitting units to feed air therethrough in the first direction; and a wire electrically connected to at least one of the plurality of the light emitting units, and disposed inside the flow path.

Adjusting power levels to compensate for print spot size variation

In an example, a method includes determining an indication of pixel separation for an image region to be printed to a substrate. A power level of a laser light source to address a pixel on a region of a photoconductive surface corresponding to the image region may be adjusted based on the indication of pixel separation to compensate for print spot size variation associated with pixel separation.

Image forming apparatus

An image forming apparatus comprises: an image processor to convert image data based on a conversion condition; an image forming unit to form an image based on the converted image data using a replaceable member; a memory to store the image data and the converted image data; a sensor to perform measurement of a test image; and a controller. If the replacement of the replaceable member is detected while forming images, the controller controls the image forming unit to form the test image and generates the conversion condition based on a result of the measurement of the test image. If the replacement of the replaceable member is detected while forming the images, the controller further controls the image processor to convert the image data stored in the memory based on the generated conversion condition.

In a detection operation in which the density detection unit detects the information related to the density of the toner image transferred to the intermediate transfer belt in a state where the transfer voltage is applied to the transfer member, the control unit controls the driving speed based on an ambient temperature detected by the temperature detection unit.
