SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
A sheet conveying device includes a body, a first guide in the body, a cover, a second guide in the cover, a detector, and a positioner. The first and second guides form a conveyance path at a closed state of the cover. The detector detects a sheet in the conveyance path and includes a photosensor in the body and a feeler in the cover. The feeler includes a detected portion movable in conjunction with the sheet passing through the conveyance path and a contacted portion. The photosensor has a detection region in which the detected portion entering the detection region is detected. The positioner in the body contacts the contacted portion to position the detected portion in the detection region.

An image forming system includes: an image former that forms images on a plurality of recording media; an inspector that detects a quality abnormality of at least one of the recording media on which at least one of the images is formed; and a controller that causes a recording medium on which an image identical to an image on an abnormal recording medium is formed to be ejected to a first ejector, the abnormal recording medium being a recording medium on which the quality abnormality is detected.

A sheet identification device includes a light irradiation portion. When forming an identification image (Im1), the light irradiation portion projects, on an identification region (R1), pattern light (P1) including a vertical component (C1) along a conveying direction (D1) of a sheet and a horizontal component (C2) orthogonal to the vertical component (C1). The identification image (Im1) is an image of the identification region (R1) of the surface of the sheet on which image formation or image reading is performed, and is used for identifying surface information on the state of the surface of the sheet.

A corona treatment apparatus comprising a conveyor (10) for moving substrate sheets to be treated along a transport path (12), a plurality of corona electrodes (24) arranged along the transport path (12) on a first side of this transport path, at least one ground electrode (26) arranged opposite to the corona electrodes (24) on an opposite second side of the transport path, and a voltage-controlled power supply circuit (30) to which the corona electrodes (24) are connected in parallel characterized in that a control circuit (38) is provided for limiting a discharge current flowing through each individual corona electrode (24).
