The present solution can temporarily impart the handling characteristics of corneal stroma to the otherwise very thin, flimsy, coiling, and fragile Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) tissue during its insertion into the anterior chamber and positioning in apposition against the cornea of the recipient eye. The device of the present solution can be configured in a number of ways. In a first configuration, a scaffold can be coupled with the endothelial side of the DMEK graft. In a second configuration, the scaffold can be coupled with the stromal side of the DMEK graft. In a third configuration, one or more scaffolds can be coupled with both the endothelial and stromal side of the DMEK graft.

SUBSTRATE WITH ROTATABLE STRUTS FOR MEDICAL DEVICE

A medical device is operable to extend and/or retract elements suitable for a particular purpose. The elements are extended and/or retracted in response to a stress applied by way of stretching and/or retracting the device, among other methods. The elements may remain extended and/or retracted or may recoil back to an initial position upon the removal of the force. In various embodiments, the elements are used to treat or deliver treatment to a target site within a body.

CEREBRAL DURAL VENOUS SINUS STENT

An implantable device includes a tubular member defining a longitudinal axis and a lumen. The tubular member includes plurality of filaments defining a plurality of openings therebetween; a distal end portion having a distal diameter; a proximal end portion having a proximal diameter that is larger than the distal diameter; and an intermediate portion having an intermediate diameter that is smaller than the distal diameter.

A medical support device (1), for use in a woman's breast as an implant without incapsulated material, wherein the medical support device (1) comprises at least a wall shaped portion (2) having a first side (3), which shows a bulge out of a plane (4), and a second side (5) of the wall shaped portion (2) has a corresponding cavity, for example a dome shape, wherein the medical support device (1) comprises an elastomer. The device will keep endogenous tissue and/or fat and/or added material, such as hyaluronic acid, in place inside of deep gland tissue of a woman's breast by means of being attached to tissue, such as muscle. A method of producing and to use such a medical support device (1).

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USING STRUCTURED TISSUE AUGMENTATION CONSTRUCTS IN SOFT TISSUE FIXATION REPAIR
20220346926 · 2022-11-03 ·

Devices, systems, and methods to improve both the reliability of soft tissue repair procedures and the speed at which the procedures are completed are provided. The devices and systems include one or more structured tissue augmentation constructs, which include constructs that are configured to increase a footprint across which suture applied force to tissue when the suture is tied down onto the tissue. The tissue augmentation constructs can be quickly and easily associated with the repair suture and can be useful in many different tissue repair procedures that are disclosed in the application. The present disclosure includes structured tissue augmentation blocks for tendon repair that have a flexible or semi-flexible skeleton integrated into the block. The skeleton can be bioabsorbable and can create both in-plane and out-of-plane curvature in the block.
