Sheet post-processing device and image forming device provided with the sheet post-processing device
A sheet post-processing device includes a conveying section that conveys a paper sheet; a punch section that punches punch holes in the paper sheet conveyed by the conveying section; a stacker section that stores the paper sheet in which the punch holes are punched by the punch section; a binding section that binds a paper sheet bundle stored in the stacker section with a binding member; and a controller that controls the above sections. The controller selectively performs a ring binding mode and a direct binding mode. The ring binding mode is a mode in which punch holes are punched in the paper sheet by the punch section and then the binding member is made to penetrate the punch holes for binding. The direct binding mode is a mode in which the binding member is directly driven into the paper sheet bundle without punching the punch holes in the sheet.
Sheet processing device and image forming device provided with the same
The present invention is to provide a sheet processing device including: a receiving tray capable of accommodating therein a sheet having, at a part thereof, a protruding portion and a sheet not having the protruding portion in a mixed state; a first binding member that binds the accommodated sheet bundle at a substantially center thereof in a sheet conveying direction; a folding section that folds the sheet bundle bound by the first binding member in two; and a second binding member that binds protruding portions of the sheet bundle folded by the folding section on a fore edge side of the sheet bundle. With this configuration, the fore edge side of the folded and saddle-stitched sheet bundle can be bound by temporary binding. Thus, a sheet processing device capable of ensuring the security of a saddle-stitched sheet bundle can be provided.
Sheet post-processing apparatus and image forming apparatus with movable binder member
Provided is a sheet post-processing apparatus capable of reliably protecting an edge-binding stapling unit and a sheet material, and of performing a sheet-binding process without increasing the size of the apparatus. The sheet post-processing apparatus includes: a binding unit movable to a binding position in which the binding unit performs a binding process using a binding member on a sheet, and an access position in which a user is accessable to the binding unit; and a control unit configured to cause, when the binding unit performs a setting operation for the binding member, the binding unit to perform the setting operation after causing the binding unit to move to a position different from the access position.
Sheet stacking apparatus and image forming system
A sheet stacking apparatus including a control portion is configured to execute: a first mode in which the control portion causes a bundle forming portion to form a bundle of sheets including a sheet supported by a first placement portion and a sheet placed on a second placement portion; and a second mode in which a downstream end portion of a bundle of sheets formed in the second mode is positioned upstream of a downstream end portion of a bundle of sheets to be formed in the first mode, and wherein the control portion sets a maximum number of sheets constituting a bundle of sheets which the control portion causes the bundle forming portion to form in the second mode to be smaller than a maximum number of sheets constituting a bundle of sheets which the control portion causes the bundle forming portion to form in the first mode.
Sheet processing apparatus
According to an embodiment, a sheet processing apparatus includes a transport unit and a holding unit. The transport unit transports a first sheet to a first position. The transport unit transports a second sheet, which is transported after the first sheet, to a second position displaced to the upstream side of a sheet transport direction relative to the first position. The transport unit transports a third sheet, which is transported after the second sheet, to a third position displaced to the downstream side of the sheet transport direction relative to the second position. In the case where the second sheet is transported to the second position, the holding unit holds the first sheet at the first position. In the case where the third sheet is transported to the third position, the holding unit holds the second sheet at the second position.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet processing apparatus in which a sheet bundle including a plurality of sheets discharged onto an intermediate processing tray is received in a receiving portion of a stapler and bound with use of a staple, and a sheet bundle including a plurality of sheets discharged onto the intermediate processing tray is received in a receiving portion of a staple-less binding unit having a gap in the thickness direction of the sheets smaller than that of the receiving portion of the stapler and bound without using a staple, wherein when the stapler performs the binding process, the staple-less binding unit is arranged in a position shifted in a width direction orthogonal to a sheet discharge direction from a region on the intermediate processing tray, through which the sheets discharged by a sheet discharging portion pass.
POST-PROCESSING APPARATUS
According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a post-processing apparatus includes a stapling unit which includes a cartridge for containing a staple used for stapling processing, a moving unit configured to move the stapling unit between a first stapling position, a second stapling position and a replacement position, a detection unit configured to detect presence or absence of a staple in the cartridge, and a control unit configured to make the stapling unit stand ready at the second stapling position in a case where the presence of a staple in the cartridge is detected by the detection unit, and to make the moving unit move the stapling unit to the replacement position in a case where the absence of a staple in the cartridge is detected by the detection unit.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
There is provided a sheet post-processing apparatus capable of performing eco-stapling processing to prevent a decrease in binding force by the thickness of a sheet with a simple arrangement by changing a stapling count depending on the grammage and size of a sheet and the number of sheets in consideration of the change in binding force caused by the sheet size.
Sheet processing device and image forming system
A sheet processing device includes: a stacking unit configured to stack a plurality of sheets to obtain a sheet bundle; a stitched-sheet number acquiring unit configured to acquire a number of sheets in the sheet bundle, which is a target to be stitched; a permanent stitching unit configured to permanently stitch the sheet bundle; a temporary stitching unit configured to be capable of temporarily stitching a plurality of areas of the sheet bundle; a selecting unit configured to select any one of the permanent stitching unit and the temporary stitching unit to be used; and a stitching-process control unit configured to, when the temporary stitching unit is selected by the selecting unit, control the temporary stitching unit so as to change a number of areas that are stitched by the temporary stitching unit.
Paper post-processing apparatus and paper post-processing method
A post-processing apparatus comprises a first processing tray on which fed paper is placed; a paper binding section configured to bind a plurality of sheets of paper stacked on the first processing tray into one bundle; a second processing tray which a plurality of paper bundles bound on the first processing tray are sequentially conveyed to and placed on; a paper bundle gluing section configured to coat glue at a given position of the top surface of a first paper bundle placed on the second processing tray before a second paper bundle is placed on the first paper bundle; a pressing section configured to press and bind the first paper bundle with the second paper bundle between which glue is coated; and a control section configured to control the timing for conveying the second paper bundle onto the first paper bundle after the glue is coated.
