The resin layer includes a particulate material A having a volume average particle diameter (a) and a particulate material B having a volume average particle diameter (b). The volume average particle diameter (a) of the particulate material A is the largest among volume average particle diameters of all particulate materials included in the resin layer, and an inequation 100≧(a)/(b)≧5 is satisfied. The particulate material A is barium sulfate.
CARRIER FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE FORMATION, DEVELOPER FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE FORMATION, ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE FORMING METHOD, ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND PROCESS CARTRIDGE
A carrier for electrophotographic image formation includes carrier particles. Each of the carrier particles includes a core particle and a coating layer covering the core particle. The coating layer includes diantimony pentoxide-containing particles.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
An image forming apparatus includes an electrostatic latent image bearer, an electrostatic latent image former, a developing device, a transfer device, and a fixing device. The electrostatic latent image former forms an electrostatic latent image on the electrostatic latent image bearer. The developing device develops the electrostatic latent image with a developer to form a toner image. The transfer device transfers the toner image on a recording medium. The fixing device fixes the toner image on the recording medium. The developer contains an adhesive medium and foamable particles.
Magnetic carrier bead separation
Examples disclosed herein relate to magnetic carrier bead separation in dual-component printing. The present disclosure relates generally to a device, method, and system for magnetic carrier bead separation. In an example, a printing device includes a developer sump to hold a plurality of carrier beads. The example device also includes a roller to move a subset of the plurality of carrier beads from an attachment point on the roller to a release point through a rotation of the roller, wherein the subset of the plurality of carrier beads return towards the developer sump after they are released at the release point. The device includes a magnetic separator located between the release point and the attachment point that guides a magnetized carrier bead of the plurality of carrier beads away from the developer sump and the roller.
Method for converting developer in a printer cartridge
A method of converting developer in a printer cartridge, comprising the steps: providing a developer unit of a printer cartridge; removing a first mixture of a developer and a first toner from the developer unit; sieving the first mixture of the developer and the first toner; removing the first toner from the first mixture of the developer and the first toner; mixing a second toner to the developer to create a second mixture of the developer and the second toner, wherein the second toner is a different toner than the first toner; and adding the second mixture of the developer and the second toner into the developer unit of the printer cartridge.
PARTICLE CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A particle conveying device includes a storage portion that stores pressure sensitive adhesive particles that contain at least a binder resin, have a pressure-induced phase transition property, and have a sulfur content in a range of 0.1 mass % or more and 0.5 mass % or less relative to the entire pressure sensitive adhesive particles as measured by X-ray fluorescence; and a conveying member that is disposed in the storage portion and rotates about a shaft that extends in one direction inside the storage portion to thereby convey the pressure sensitive adhesive particles in a direction along the shaft inside the storage portion.
