REVISION STEPPED TIBIAL IMPLANT
A tibial implant having a stem and a tibial sleeve. The tibial sleeve having a proximal end and a distal end, where the proximal end includes an annular male portion. The tibial implant also includes an offset ring having a central bore that is offset from the center of the offset ring, where the bore of the offset ring receives the annular male portion of the tibial sleeve. The tibial implant further includes a base plate having a proximal end and a distal end, where the distal end of the base plate forms a female portion, and the female portion receives both the offset ring and the male portion of the tibial sleeve.
Rail-Fixing Implant
Implant includes a body and a utile feature, for example, a smooth articulating surface. A transverse rail stem system with a plurality of rails is provided, spaced apart from the utile feature, which is adapted for transverse insertion into a bodily substrate, for example, resected bone. A surgical templatefor example, to assist in sawing, drilling with a drill bit and drill guide, and broaching with a broachalong with such bone removal tools can help prepare the bone for receipt of the implant.
STENTED HEART VALVE DEVICES AND METHODS FOR ATRIOVENTRICULAR VALVE REPLACEMENT
A compressible and expandable stent assembly for implantation in a body lumen such as a mitral valve, the stent assembly including at least one stent barrel that is shaped and sized so that it allows for normal operation of adjacent heart structures. One or more stent barrels can be included in the stent assembly, where one or more of the stent barrels can include a cylinder with tapered edge.
Medical implant for filling a cavity in a glandular tissue and method of manufacturing a medical implant for filling a cavity in a glandular tissue
The invention relates to a medical implant (1) for filling a cavity in a glandular tissue, in particular in the glandular tissue of the human breast, wherein the medical implant (1) consists of a titanized polymer and is designed as a mesh to cover the cavity to be filled. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the medical implant (1).
HUMERAL ARTHROPLASTY
Arthroplasty components include an articular surface and a bone-facing surface. The bone-facing surface includes a concave arrangement of planar surfaces which converge as they approach a middle portion of the articular surface. Instruments and implantation methods are also disclosed.
Method of Manufacturing Patient-Customized Tibial Element
A method of manufacturing a patient-customized tibial element for use in artificial knee joint surgery. A tibial element data table regarding sizes of proximal tibial prostheses is formed. Standard molds able to cover the tibial element data table are manufactured. A standard mold is selected from the standard molds in order to manufacture a patient-customized proximal tibial prosthesis. A proximal tibial prosthesis fitting a patient is formed using the selected standard mold.
Synthetic chord
Synthetic chord devices and methods for using the same for connecting tissues are provided. Aspects of the synthetic chord device include a flexible cord having an attachment element at both a first and a second end, wherein each attachment element includes a piercing member coupled to a securing member that attaches the flexible cord to a first tissue. At least a portion of the flexible cord can be configured to be secured to a second tissue. Aspects of the invention also include sets of the synthetic chord device with pre-measured flexible cords. The devices and methods of the invention find use in a variety of applications, such as in is applications in which it is desired to repair a heart valve.
One or more stent barrels can be included in the stent assembly, where one or more of the stent barrels can include a cylinder with a tapered edge.
OUTER EAR IMPLANT SYSTEMS, METHODS OF IMPLANTING, AND SELECTION KITS
An ear implant selection kit is described including a set of semi-transparent or transparent contour templates, a separate set of gradation templates, and a set of three-dimensional ear implant models, all of which may be used to select an ear implant out of a set of implants that best matches the appearance of a contralateral ear of an individual. Related ear implant systems and methods are also described.
Systems and methods for delivering multiple ocular implants
Systems and methods for delivering multiple ocular implants to reduce intraocular pressure are disclosed. The ocular implants can be implanted at multiple sites within a single human eye without requiring removal of the delivery apparatus from the eye. A system for delivering multiple ocular implants can include a plurality of implants, an external housing, and an introducer assembly. The external housing can provide access to an implant singulation actuator and an implant delivery actuator. The introducer assembly can comprise an auto-retracting introducer portion. The delivery apparatus can include an infinite activation mechanism/portion and/or a manual singulation mechanism/portion.
