Arm protectors may be configured to protect a forearm of a user from bruising, scratches, cuts, bites, burns, and/or other injuries. The arm protector may include a body portion having a main body portion, a hand portion, and an extension portion. The main body portion may extend between the hand portion and the extension portion. The extension portion may extend from the main body portion toward an elbow of a user on a first side and toward an elbow crease of a user on a second side so as to protect a forearm, including an elbow region, of a user, while facilitating bending of the arm of the user.

The garment also includes a lower front access portion where the pair of fabric panels overlap but are not joined and may therefore be parted, providing access to a portion of the wearer's body. The disclosure relates to a garment comprising a lower torso portion comprising a front portion, a back portion, and a strap portion configured to couple the back portion and the front portion. The strap portion is fixed to one of the back portion or the front portion at one end thereof and free at the other end thereof, and the free end is configured for being removably coupled to the other of the front portion or back portion. The strap portion is configured for being circumferentially disposed over the pubis mound and between legs of the user. The strap portion comprises a first magnetic closure coupled to the free end thereof and the other of the front portion or back portion to which the strap portion is removably coupled comprises a second magnetic closure.

Illustrated views of an exemplary face mask device for use to prevent the spread of viruses is presented. The face mask device is useful for providing a comfortable, tight fit. The face mask device provides coverage of a face of a user over a nose, a mouth and wrapping around a chin of the user. The face mask device is washable and reusable. An apparatus having components that are interconnectable without fasteners. A first component includes a male connection portion including a connection wall defining a non-circular, closed-geometric shape, and one or more grooves extending along a least a portion of an outer side of the connection wall. A second component includes a female connection portion including a capture wall defining a shape within which the connection wall fits in a first orientation and a second orientation. The second orientation is a fastened state achieved via a rotational twist action of the first component with respect to the second component. One or more protrusions extend inwardly from the capture wall. The one or more protrusions are sized to engage the one or more grooves of the connection wall of the first component when the connection wall is oriented in the second orientation within the capture wall.

The invention provides an equipment and a system that addresses the key concerns of eating/drinking in public while minimizing the chance of contamination of the eater and the public in general. The equipment can be a face mask, a face shield or a helmet that completely encloses at least the mouth and the nose of a person while providing intermittent access to the mouth without removal of the equipment. A mouth opening is provided on the equipment which is selectively blocked or unblocked by a covering element moved by a moving mechanism that moves the cover element to block or unblock the mouth opening. The mouth opening is selectively blocked or unblocked based on the distance between an activating element provided on a utensil or a wearable device and a receiving element provided on the equipment.

A protective garment system including a bib configured to fit around at least part of an upper portion of a torso of a wearer. The bib includes an outer material and a particulate-blocking material which is configured to be positioned between the outer material and a wearer when the bib is worn. The bib has a perimeter and is configured to be releasably attached to a pair of trousers about the perimeter.

A method for assembling a garment portion including accessing a first garment portion, a second garment portion and a fixture, wherein the first garment portion is generally tubular and has two plies. The method further includes positioning the first garment portion on the fixture such that the fixture is positioned in the first garment portion, and wrapping the second garment portion about the first garment portion. The method further includes unrolling or unfolding at least part of the first garment portion over the second garment portion such that the second garment portion is positioned between the two plies of the first garment portion.
