Device and technique for securing laces
A device for use in securing two or more laces on an article of clothing includes (a) a piece of flexible and elastic material having shear-resistive properties and an initial disk-like shape and (b) a hole formed in the material. When the laces are inserted through the hole a first time, wrapped together around a portion of the piece of material, inserted together through the hole a second time, and pulled tightly in opposite directions, the material deforms to (1) assume a self-herniated shape in which the material grips the laces and folds upon itself and the laces toward the hole, and (2) retain the self-herniated shape and secure the laces in place after pulling forces are removed from the laces.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ADJUSTING THE FIT OF CLOTHING
A system for adjusting the fit of an article of clothing and to provide other benefits including, but not limited to, reduction and/or elimination of wind drag, reduction of loose clothing that can get caught or cause obstruction, regulation of blood circulation, movement, and swelling of the wearer of the article of clothing, adjustment of ventilation, general enhancement of the clothing for a desired activity, and general comfort and/or desired appearance. The system comprises one or more closures at various locations of the article of clothing to enable the wearer to adjust the fit of the clothing when desired.
GARMENT
A garment having an opening and closing portion for putting on and taking off the garment on a front body, wherein a tab is placed at any position on each of a left and a right outside the opening and closing portion, wherein an upper end portion of the tab is attached to an upper end of the opening and closing portion in conformity to the opening and closing portion, and a distance from the upper end of the opening and closing portion to a position at which a zipper is attached to the opening and closing portion is at least 1 cm.
Garment button with slidable track for tightening and loosening of a garment
A device for adjusting the fit of a garment may include a track having a plurality of track teeth; and a button including a shoe designed to removably engage with the track; a spring operatively engaged with the shoe; and a plurality of button teeth operatively attached to the spring. When the spring is not compressed, the plurality of button teeth may be designed to removably engage with the plurality of track teeth, and when the spring is compressed, the plurality of button teeth may be designed to disengage from the plurality of track teeth. The device may be attached to the waistband of a garment, resulting in a garment with an adjustable sized waist.
Double breasted raincoat
A double breasted raincoat has a body, two sleeves, a first collar, two cover sheets, a second collar, and at least one mounting element. The body has a top portion, a left portion, a right portion, a back sheet, a left front sheet, a right front sheet, a neckline, and two cuffs. The neckline is formed thorough the top portion of the body. The two cuffs are respectively formed through the left portion and the right portion of the body. The two sleeves are respectively connected with edges of the two cuffs. The first collar is connected with an edge of the neckline. The second collar is mounted on an inner surface of the first collar. The at least one mounting element is mounted on a right side edge of the left cover sheet and a left side edge of the right cover sheet.
Extender belts for pants and trousers
In one embodiment, an extender belt for clothing is disclosed including a belt strap, a belt buckle coupled to the belt strap, and an extender button coupled to the belt strap. The belt strap is configured to be wrapped around the waist of a user and form a loop. The belt strap has a series of a plurality of openings near a first end configured to receive a protrusion or prong of the belt buckle. The belt strap further has one or more buttonholes near a second end configured to receive a button of the pants or trousers. The belt buckle is pivotally coupled to the belt strap near the second end. The belt buckle has the pivotal protrusion or prong configured to extend into the plurality of openings near the first end. The extender button is coupled to an inner surface of the belt strap near the first end. The extender button is configured to extend into a pant hole of pants that typically receive the pant button. The belt strap can have a wide portion configured to cover over an open zipper and an open waist of the pants or trousers.
GARMENT WITH CLOSURE
The disclosure relates to a garment comprising a lower torso portion comprising a front portion, a back portion, and a strap portion configured to couple the back portion and the front portion. The strap portion is fixed to one of the back portion or the front portion at one end thereof and free at the other end thereof, and the free end is configured for being removably coupled to the other of the front portion or back portion. The strap portion is configured for being circumferentially disposed over the pubis mound and between legs of the user. The strap portion comprises a first magnetic closure coupled to the free end thereof and the other of the front portion or back portion to which the strap portion is removably coupled comprises a second magnetic closure.
Tool Belt Chaps with Knee Pads and Movable, Detachable Tool Pockets
Tool belt chaps are disclosed as these may be provided for gardening or other activities. An example of the tool belt chaps include a pair of chaps and a waist belt with buckling mechanism, such that the belt comfortably secures the pair of chaps around a waist of a user. The example tool belt chaps also include one or more adjustable catches attached to the pair of chaps, and one or more tool pockets that interchangeably attach to one or more of the catches. The pair of chaps may also include a pair of knee pads, and one or more securing straps attached to each leg of the pair of chaps, such that the pair of chaps may be comfortably secured around the legs of the user.

A frame is sealed in a waterproof manner to a pair of pants and/or waders, where the frame forms a frame aperture separating an outside from an inside of the pair of pants and/or waders. A lid is pivotably connected to the frame where the lid in an open position allows access through the frame aperture and the lid in a closed position does not. A seal is disposed between the frame and the lid forming a waterproof closure of the frame aperture when the lid is in the closed position. A latch is movably connected to the frame, the latch having an engagement surface configured for a user to press against. A protective protrusion is attached to the lid, wherein the engagement surface and the protective protrusion cooperatively form a finger gap configured to allow the user access to press against the engagement surface.
APPAREL HAVING AN INTEGRALLY FORMED WRAP FOR HAIR
A piece of apparel has a hair wrap connected to or is integrally formed as part of the apparel. After bathing, a wearer of the apparel can use the hair wrap portion to wrap his or her head. The hair wrap is able to dry and restrain a user's hair after the bathing experience.
