DEVICES AND METHODS FOR CERCLAGE OF LUMENAL SYSTEMS

The present disclosure provides embodiments of devices that are useful in the structural remodeling of various parts of the cardiovascular system, most notably the heart. Certain of the disclosed devices relate to RAMIN procedures (“remodeling and ablation using myocardial interstitial navigation”). RAMIN procedures, as described herein, represent a new family of non-surgical catheter-based procedures in order to accomplish ablation, drug delivery, re-shaping, pacing, and related structural heart interventional procedures, as desired.

Low Profile Cardiac Valves and Methods of Making and Using Same

Transluminally implantable cardiac valves configured for use in cardiac valve replacement and/or cardiac valve exclusion that are capable of percutaneous delivery on low-profile catheters having 15 French size or less. The implantable cardiac valves are fabricated of from a unitary metal material to form a lattice frame support having a main body portion and valve leaflet portion, and a plurality of elongate biasing arm members. A polymer coating or covering is disposed on the valve leaflet portion and the elongate biasing arm members and subtends space between adjacent pairs of elongate biasing arm members to form valve leaflet portions in which the elongate biasing arms and the polymer coating operate to share a mechanical load thereupon.

Lateral spinous process spacer with deployable wings

Interspinous process implants are disclosed. Also disclosed are systems and kits including such implants, methods of inserting such implants, and methods of alleviating pain or discomfort associated with the spinal column.

Stent and stent delivery device

In one embodiment according to the present invention, a stent is described having a generally cylindrical body formed from a single woven nitinol wire. The distal and proximal ends of the stent include a plurality of loops, some of which include marker members used for visualizing the position of the stent. In another embodiment, the previously described stent includes an inner flow diverting layer.

Ureteral stent and related methods

The embodiments disclosed herein relate to a ureteral stent having two stent bodies and a tether. The stent can minimize or prevent migration of the device out of the bladder of the patient while also reducing patient discomfort associated with such stents.

Vascular filter system and method of deployment and retrieval of a vascular filter
11564786 · 2023-01-31 ·

A vascular filter system for deploying a vascular filter utilizes a plurality of tensors that extend radially outward from a deployment sheath. The ends of the tensors are coupled with an attachment ring of the vascular filter and a plurality of attachment barbs are coupled with the attachment ring for securing the filter to the vessel wall. A method for retrieving the vascular filter from the vessel utilizes a reverse curve catheter, a guidewire that extends therethrough and an intravascular snare. The guidewire is advanced around the filter and into the snare which secures the guidewire around the filter for retrieval. A vessel distention device utilizes one or more distention tensors having a distention feature on the extended end, such as a blunt tip, to press on the inside vessel wall. The distention tensors extend out radially from a sheath to press on the vessel wall.

GRAFT FOR TREATING THE DISTAL AORTIC ARCH AND DESCENDING AORTA IN TYPE A PATIENTS
20230029448 · 2023-01-26 ·

A prosthetic graft assembly (40, 120) is disclosed for placement of a patient's aortic arch and repair of the descending aorta in a procedure which requires only a sternotomy. The assembly includes a descending graft element (40) which includes an eversible cuff (52) which can be wrapped over a cut end (26) of the descending aorta (18). Distal perfusion can be re-established prior to aortic arch replacement. A second prosthetic element (120), optimised to the patient, is fitted with a replacement for the aortic arch and attached to the descending aorta graft (40). An introducer assembly (30) having a transparent or translucent sheath (70) enables the descending aortic graft element (40) to be deployed without the use of x-rays.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MITRAL VALVE CHORD REPAIR

Methods and devices for transvascular prosthetic chordae tendinea implantation are disclosed. A catheter is advanced into the left atrium. From an atrium side, the catheter can be anchored to a superior surface of a mitral valve leaflet and a leaflet anchor can be advanced into the mitral valve leaflet to secure the mitral valve leaflet to a leaflet suture. A ventricular anchor is anchored to the wall of the ventricle to secure the ventricular wall to a ventricle suture. The leaflet suture and the ventricle suture may be tensioned and connected by a suture lock to form an artificial chordae.

Endovascular graft systems and methods for deployment in main and branch arteries
11559386 · 2023-01-24 · ·

Endovascular systems for deployment at branched arteries include a main tubular graft body deployable within a main artery including a proximal end and an opposed distal end. The proximal and distal ends have a tubular graft wall therein between. A plurality of inflatable channels are disposed along the main tubular graft body, and at least one stent segment is disposed along the tubular graft wall of the main tubular graft body. The plurality of inflatable channels are configured to be inflatable with an inflation medium. The at least one stent segment is disposed between two or more adjacent inflatable channels of the plurality of inflatable channels.
