METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING A WORKPIECE, DETERMINING A MEASUREMENT SEQUENCE, AND MEASURING A WORKPIECE WITH A MEASUREMENT DEVICE
A method for measuring a workpiece by a measurement device includes capturing an identification feature of a workpiece by a capture device, determining an item of identity information relating to the workpiece, comparing the identity information with identity information relating to a plurality of workpieces from a database which stores the identity information relating to the plurality of workpieces, identifying the workpiece in the database, and/or characterizing the workpiece from the comparison with the database, determining a measurement sequence stored in the database for the identified workpiece, or suggesting features or steps of a measurement sequence for the identified workpiece, and measuring the workpiece in accordance with the measurement sequence in the measurement device.
ATTACHMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF WEATHER STRIP
The present disclosure provides an attachment system of a weather strip, including: a supply unit configured to unwind the weather strip that winds with a predetermined length and to supply the weather strip, an attaching unit configured to attach the weather strip to a surface of a component by the adhesive layer and to cut the weather strip at a predetermined position, a tag provided in the supply unit that is configured to store position information of the defective portion of the weather strip detected during the weather strip extruding process, a reader antenna provided during the weather strip assembling process that is configured to receive the position information of the defective portion, and a controller configured to control a cutting position of the weather strip discharging side of the attaching unit based on the position information of the defective portion.
Semiconductor device, method of manufacturing the same and generation method of unique information
A semiconductor device with improved generation function of unique information is provided. The semiconductor device includes an integrated circuit designed or fabricated based on a general design condition or manufacturing condition, an input/output circuit, and a unique-information generation circuit to generate unique information of the semiconductor device. The unique-information generation circuit includes a circuit for PUF and a code-generation unit. The circuit for PUF is fabricated based on the design condition or manufacturing condition which is different from the general design condition or manufacturing condition and has a factor which makes variations of circuit components become large. The code-generation unit generates codes based on the output of the circuit for PUF.
Label processing apparatus
In accordance with an embodiment, a label processing apparatus comprises a conveyance mechanism, a radio wave shielding mechanism, an antenna and a reader/writer. The conveyance mechanism conveys a paper on which a a plurality of s are attached with a RFID tag are arranged. The radio wave shielding mechanism includes an opening moving in synchronization with each RFID tag arranged on the paper conveyed by the conveyance mechanism. The antenna receives and transmits a radio wave for communication via the opening while the opening moves in synchronization with the RFID tag. The reader/writer communicates with the RFID tag of the paper conveyed by the conveyance mechanism via the antenna.
MANUFACTURING METHOD OF STACKED CORE AND MANUFACTURING DEVICE OF STACKED CORE
The manufacturing method of a motor core includes attaching an ID code to a stack of blanked members in which a magnet insertion hole to fill with a resin material is formed, the ID code containing information in accordance with a type of the stack, reading the information from the ID code which is attached to the stack, and setting a mold condition based on the information read from the ID code. The mold condition includes at least one type of condition including: the resin material to be injected to the magnet insertion hole, an injection amount of the resin material, and a discharge position of the resin material. A mold device is controlled to inject the resin material to the magnet insertion hole in accordance with the mold condition.
WHEEL RECUTTING
A method of recutting the surface of a wheel includes mounting the wheel on a rotatable mount, moving a probe across the surface of the wheel between an outer radial position and an inner radial position to obtain a radial surface profile and rotating the wheel about its axis on the rotatable mount. During rotation of the wheel, the position of a cutting tool with respect to the surface of the wheel is controlled to recut the surface of the wheel in accordance with the cutting profile. The wheel is tagged with a unique wheel identifier, and the unique wheel identifier is recorded into a database in association with an indication of an amount of material which has been removed from the surface of the wheel.
REFILLABLE CONTAINER FOR USE WITH VENDING MACHINES
A refill bottle, such as a laundry refill bottle, is disclosed that can be used with a consumer refill station to reuse the bottle over and over. The refill bottle includes automatic flow control valves, that allow the bottle to be filled, handled, dispensed from, and refilled innumerable times without a cap. The elimination of a cap alleviates the manufacturer and consumer of the tasks of installing, loosening, tightening, removing, and reinstalling or replacing the cap. The refillable bottle uses flow control valves, specifically an automatic filling valve, an automatic pressure vent valve, a manual/automatic dispensing valve, and an automatic vacuum vent valve. The refill bottle enables liquid and air to be exchanged during filling, handling, dispensing, and refilling.
Analysis of end effector operations by a robot
Systems and methods are provided for placing non-destructive marks onto a part via an end effector of a robot. One embodiment is a system comprising an end effector of a robot. The end effector includes an extendable punch that places targets onto a part, and supports that hold a strip of reflective adhesive tape between the punch and the part. Extending the punch cuts out a target from the strip and applies an adhesive side of the target to the part, and retracting the punch leaves a reflective side of the target visible on the part.
Robot with hot-swapped end effectors
Robots capable of accommodating dynamic replacement of end effectors load and run software that allows the end effector to be operated without change to the main control program. The driver may be dynamically linked and run during program execution when the corresponding end effector is detected. Typically, the robot controller will store a library of drivers, and load the appropriate driver when a new end effector is detected.
