A dispatch system and a dispatch method for manufacturing mold are provided. The dispatch system includes a control unit, a mold material storage unit, a processing cutter storage unit, an object pick-and-place and transfer unit, a mold processing unit and a mold product storage unit. The mold material storage unit includes many unprocessed mold materials. The processing cutter storage unit includes many processing cutters. The object pick-and-place and transfer unit is electrically connected to the control unit and disposed between the mold material storage unit and the processing cutter storage unit. One of the unprocessed mold materials and one of the processing cutters are transferred to the mold processing unit by the object pick-and-place and transfer unit, the unprocessed mold material is processed to form a mold product by the mold processing unit, and the mold product is transferred to the mold product storage unit.
Controlling operation of machine tools using artificial intelligence
Methods, systems and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage medium, for controlling operations of machine tool workstations. Machine tool workstations are grouped into functional groups. Neural networks corresponding to the functional groups are trained to process respective inputs representing parts to be processed to generate respective outputs representing sequences of ordered subsets of the parts that produce a reduced setup time for workstations in the functional groups. Data representing respective collections of parts to be processed by workstations included in the functional groups is processed using the trained neural networks to generate corresponding sequences of ordered subsets of the collection of parts. Average delay times associated with the generated sequences of ordered subsets of the collection of parts are computed. If the average delay times are less than a predetermined threshold, parts are released to the functional groups for processing according to the generated sequences.

Machining station, workpiece holding system, and method of machining a workpiece
The machining station can include a table; at least three robots each having a multi-axis mover secured to the table, and a gripper opposite the table, the robots being interspaced from one another on the table; and a controller. The controller controls the robots to hold a workpiece in a coordinated manner. The computer numerical command (CNC) machine-tool system machines the workpiece while the workpiece is held by the robots. The workpiece can be moved into and out from the machining station with a trolley which slidingly engages a trolley path formed within the table.

The machine tool control module 50 reads the value of a second variable stored in a second storage area 582 of the variable storage unit 58, controls the movement of a machine tool 2 on the basis of the value that has been read, and rewrites the value of a first variable stored in a first storage area 581, and the robot control module 60 reads the value of the first variable, controls the movement of the robot 3 on the basis of the value of the first variable that has been read, and rewrites the value of the second variable.

An edge device interface system and method for monitoring, recording, and calculating control and response signals generated by and between an injection molding system including an injection-molding machine and a robotic handling device. The edge device interface system of the invention includes an edge device interposed between the connector of the injection-molding machine and the connector of a robotic handling device using standardized connectors. The edge device interface system may be interposed between the connector of the injection-mailing machine and the connector of a robotic handling device to emulate the function of either device as desired. The edge device interface system and method utilizes data observed both from standardized connectors and auxiliary inputs to provide insight into molding process steps and equipment, including what components of the injection molding system that may be contributing to any molding process instability or inefficiency, and for generating signals for real-time adjustment of the molding process.

A first control device includes: a first program execution part outputting a first control command at every first cycle; a parsing part parsing at least a part of a first application program at every second cycle to sequentially generate an internal command; a command calculation part outputting a second control command at every first cycle according to the internal command generated by the parsing part; and an arbitration part managing a parsing process performed by the parsing part. The arbitration part adjusts an output timing of the second control command according to the internal command generated by the parsing part in response to notification of a timing from the second control device.
