Methods and systems of identifying a time reduction in a manufacturing time associated with a plurality of products. One system includes an electronic processor configured to receive a dataset associated with an assembly line. The dataset includes a classification for each of the plurality of products produced by the assembly line, where the assembly line is associated with a plurality of tests. The electronic processor is also configured to determine a set of test combinations for the assembly line based on the plurality of tests and, for each test combination, determine a number of missing products based on the classification for each of the plurality of products. The electronic processor is also configured to determine at least one test to remove based on the number of missing products for each test combination and output a result including an indication of the at least one test to remove.

The system may also include a self-organizing system for self-organizing a storage operation of the data, a data collection operation of the sensors, or a selection operation of the plurality of sensor inputs. The self-organizing system may organize a swarm of mobile data collectors to collect data from a plurality of target systems.

A method of monitoring a set of meters that are connected to a common remote processor device, the method comprising both first steps performed in each meter for: acquiring primary measurements of a magnitude representative of the occurrence of an anomaly; selecting pertinent measurements from the primary measurements, the pertinent measurements satisfying a pertinence criterion; regularly transmitting the pertinent measurements to the remote processor device; and second steps performed in the remote processor device, for: comparing, for each meter, the pertinent measurements with a detection threshold common to all of the meters of the set of meters in order to attempt detecting an anomaly associated with said meter; and adjusting the detection threshold dynamically as a function of the percentage of meters detected as being associated with an anomaly.

An electronic component real-time protection and monitoring notification system includes a primary controller and at least one protection notifier. The primary controller utilizes a feedback control circuit to control a control signal of an electronic component. Each protection notifier is connected in series with the primary controller and is independent of each other. When the parameter such as the temperature, voltage, or current of the controlled electrical component exceeds the safety requirements, each protection notifier clamps the primary controller from outputting the control signal in real-time and utilizes the photocoupler to issue a monitoring notification signal. By clamping the operation of the controlled electronic component, it is able to identify which part of the electronic component malfunctions. Through the aforementioned configuration, an effective and real-time monitoring function may be provided, thus decreasing the repairing costs.

A system can include an industrial system including a plurality of components, at least one component operatively coupled to a sensor, and a sensor communication circuit to interpret a plurality of sensor data values in response to a sensed parameter group. A pattern recognition circuit may determine a recognized pattern value in response to at least a portion of the data values, wherein the recognized pattern value includes a secondary value. A sensor learning circuit may update the sensed parameter group in response to the recognized pattern value and adjust the interpreting the plurality of sensor data values in response to the updated sensed parameter group. The pattern recognition circuit and the sensor learning circuit iteratively determine the recognized pattern value and update the sensed parameter group to improve a sensing performance value.

A system can include an industrial system including a plurality of components, at least one operatively coupled to a sensor, a sensor communication circuit to interpret sensor data values, and a system collaboration circuit to communicate a portion of the data values to a storage target according to a sensor data transmission protocol. A transmission environment circuit may determine transmission conditions corresponding to the communication of the portion of data values to the storage target and a network management circuit update the data transmission protocol in response to the transmission conditions.

A receiver at the base facility receives, from the production station, a selection of signal samples based on the anomaly analysis, where the received selection is optimized at the production station to be substantially relevant to an update of a statistical model while adhering to a dynamic capacity limitation of the production station. The statistical model is maintained at the base facility and incorporates features related to the production station. A management system at the base facility updates the statistical model based on the received selection, optionally derives an updated anomaly model based on the statistical model, and optionally transmits the updated anomaly model to the production station.
