The waterproof and breathable body suit include a chest portion, a pair of pants portions and a pair of adjustable shoulder straps. The pants portions are coupled to and extend downwardly from the chest portion. The pair of adjustable shoulder straps are coupled to the chest portion. The chest portion includes a front chest pocket arrangement, which includes a hand warming compartment and a storage compartment. The waterproof boots are coupled to the pants portions. The liner member is detachably coupled to a portion of an inner surface along the pair of pants portions. The liner member may include at least one heating sheet and a power source to heat the waterproof and breathable body suit.
System and method for connecting garments and related articles
A system and method of selectively connecting at least two articles of clothing is provided. First and second articles, which may comprise a glove and jacket sleeve or cuff, have mating geometries and at least one fastener to securely and selectively connect the two articles. In certain embodiments, magnets are provided as fasteners to connect the articles. For example, in certain embodiments, a method and system is provided that comprises features adapted to allow connection of an accessory (e.g. ski glove) to a portion of another article (e.g. jacket).
Abdominal Harness for Workouts
The disclosed device is an abdominal, adjustable belt for use during exercises. The belt is preferably made from a nylon “plush” fabric for the outer surface and neoprene lining for the inner surface. The belt is to be worn directly on a wearer's skin or over a thin shirt, with the neoprene/nylon combination intended to generate profuse perspiration during workouts. The belt is preferably tightened around the waist using a combination of overlapping bands, with each band intending to sculpt a separate section of the waistline. The bands utilize the hook and loop clasp, which securely grips onto the plush surface. Since the outer shell is entirely plush, the 10 dimeter of the interlocking belts surrounding the user's waist are infinitely adjustable. The belt's bottom contour is pointed downward and is intended to cover and compress the lower abdomen. Both the outer and the inner surfaces of the belt are highly elastic and expand under stress.
HEATED MASK
A mask includes a support member that is configured to extend across at least a portion of a face of a user and a heater connected to the support member.
HEMP-BASED CHAR OR OILS AND POLYMERS FORMED AS FIBERS OR FILMS HAVING ENHANCED PROPERTIES
A process of forming a fiber comprised of a plurality of bio-char particles, comprising: combining a portion of a polymer with a hemp derivative, said hemp derivative selected form a hemp carbon made by pyrolyzing a quantity of hemp stalk at between 1100-1500° C. to create a char; adding the char to a milling vessel and milling the char for a period of between 1 to 16 hours, and a full spectrum hemp extract, or combinations thereof, wherein the polymer and hemp derivative are extruded to form a fiber.
PROTECTIVE FIRE GLOVE
A fire protective glove includes a palm portion and a back portion. The palm portion includes a polymer impregnated layer constructed of aramid fibers, leather, or a combination thereof; and a palm moisture barrier layer that is interior to the polymer impregnated layer, the palm moisture barrier layer being constructed of polyurethane, polytetrafluroethylene, aramid fibers, or a combination thereof. The back portion includes a first back protective layer constructed of aramid fibers, leather, or a combination thereof; and a second back protective layer that is interior to the first back protective layer, the second back protective layer being constructed of aramid fibers, modacrylic, or a combination thereof.
Cold Weather Survival Suit
A cold weather survival suit includes a principal body cavity having pneumatically connected extensions to fit body extremities and a coverable cranial opening. The structure of the suit includes a layered structure of mechanically interconnected suits within suits. A composite of tear-proof and insulation material forms an internal suit or first envelope that is surrounded by a waterproof suit and then by a tear resistant suit.
Thermal Therapy Garment Assembly
A thermal therapy garment assembly for includes a shirt that is wearable on a user. A plurality of pockets is each of the pockets is coupled to the shirt. A plurality of thermal packs is provided and each of the thermal packs is positionable in a respective one of the pockets. Each of the thermal packs is exposable to a heat source to apply heat therapy to strategic locations on the user's body. Each of the thermal packs is exposable to a cooling source to apply cold therapy to the strategic locations on the user's body. A plurality of straps is each coupled to the shirt. Each of the straps is tensionable along the shirt for compressing the shirt against the user's body. In this way each of the straps reduces blood circulation in the user's body for enhancing effectiveness of the heat or cold therapy.
Glove-like device with ergonomically advantageously activatable camera integrated therein
The invention proposes a glove-like device which has a carrier structure, a camera and a switching arrangement. The camera is designed to record an image or series of images when it receives a contact signal. The carrier structure is designed, in the manner of a glove or of a cuff, to be readily fastened on a user's hand and/or wrist such that, in a state in which it has been drawn over the hand, at least some parts of the carrier structure enclose the user's hand. The camera and the switching arrangement are fastened on the carrier structure. The switching arrangement has an actuable component which is specifically arranged, and designed, such that it can be actuated by virtue of the user's thumb executing an actuating movement in the direction of a finger of the same hand and/or in the direction of a finger joint of the same hand, and which thus activates the contact signal and passes the latter on to the camera. In particular for activities such as, for example, many types of sport in which a user protects his hands in any case in gloves, the glove-like device described can make it possible for the user to record images in a straightforward and ergonomically intuitive manner.
Insulated garment
The technology described herein generally relates to a garment that is insulating yet light weight, which may provide protection from the elements without weighing down the wearer. The garment in accordance with the technology described herein comprises a layer of thermally insulating sheet material having one or more voided portions in place of conventional down or other synthetic thermally insulating materials. The one or more voided portions allow the thermal insulation to be light weight and adequately protective in cooler/cold weather, without adding motion hindering bulk to the garment.
