A thermal treatment undergarment retains a thermal treatment pack in position over a locus of pain or injury. The thermal treatment undergarment includes a first elastic layer, such as a brief, that may be worn. A thermal pouch is defined on the undergarment, such as by a joining seam of a second elastic layer, which may also be formed as a brief. A joining seam around the leg openings and the lateral sides provides an abdominal pocket and a back pocket. Likewise, a joining seam about the leg openings and each of an anterior and posterior portion of the brief, defines a lateral side pocket, for treatment of the hip pain or injury.

Further, a flap is connected to and extends from an end of the back portion proximal the opening, the flap being configured to be sat on by the user.

Two or more thermal insulation packages may be interconnected by sealed regions (50) to form an insulation construct. The present invention relates generally to therapeutic articles comprised of carbonaceous blend textile materials comprising yarns having about 25 to 100 weight % carbonaceous fiber and about 0 to 75 weight % fiber made of polyester, nylon, rayon, lyocell, cellulose, wool, silk, linen, bamboo, m-aramid, p-aramid, modacrylic, novoloid, melamine, regenerated cellulose, polyvinyl chloride, antistatic fiber, poly(p-phenylene benzobisoxazole) (PBO), polybenzimidazole (PBI), polysulphonamide (PSA), and combinations thereof, or other fibers not listed that are capable of being made into yarn and textile fabrics that are knit, woven, or nonwoven, and wherein the fabric has a weight from about 3 oz/yd.sup.2 to about 20 oz/yd.sup.2. Also encompassed within this invention is a method for using therapeutic textile articles having carbonaceous blend textile materials of the present disclosure for treatment of humans and animals with developmental neurological disorders, central nervous system disorders, autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular disease, sleep disorders, anxiety disorders, pain management, and diabetes.

GARMENT

A garment, to which a blower device is detachably attachable, includes a main body and a heat insulation material. The main body includes at least an outer fabric having an attachment hole through which the blower device can be partially inserted. The main body is configured to cover at least a portion of a body of a wearer. The heat insulation material is attached to the main body at least on an inner side of the outer fabric. The heat insulation material is configured to cover at least a portion of the body. The garment is configured such that the heat insulation material is detachable from the main body.

The heater comprises two printed conductive bus bars with extensions traversing the substrate and an array of printed resistive areas arranged so that each area is between and overlaps and is contiguous to two conductors, one of which is one of the bus bars or its extensions and the second is the other bus bar or its extensions.

The interior chamber is insulated and surrounded by a water-proof outer covering. A flexible collar having an elastic band closure extends from the perimeter edge of the open end. A looped panel is attached to the outer covering. The panel is attached to the outer covering so as to form first and second tunnels for selectively receiving a belt for vertical mounting. First and second belt loops are attached across the panel for horizontal mounting. A flap that can be closed and the first and second belt loops can be used to retain the hand warmer in place when the hand warmer is horizontally positioned.

The garment allows a mother to remain warm while breastfeeding by exposing only one breast, with the absorbent fabric panels absorbing and wicking moisture away to keep the mother dry.

Aspects herein are directed to a garment having a hood system comprising an outer hood and a yoke structure positioned adjacent and internal to the outer hood. The outer hood is affixed to a neckline opening of the garment along the sides of the neckline opening but is detached from the neckline opening in the back. The yoke structure is selectively attached to the outer hood in two or more disparate locations and is affixed to the neckline opening of the garment at the location at which the outer hood is detached from the neckline opening. The hood system is useable for distributing tension forces generated by pulling the front of the outer hood forward to, for example, cover a wearer's eyes when resting.
