IRRIGATION MAINTENANCE SYSTEM
An irrigation maintenance system for facilitating irrigation of a farming area includes a sensor disposed at a main disconnect of a utility, a processor, and a memory. The sensor is configured to generate a signal indicative of abnormal operation of at least one component of a plurality of components of an irrigation system for the farming area based on network power quality, the network power quality including a phase balance, an inrush current, a power factor, or combinations thereof. The memory includes instructions stored thereon, which when executed by the processor, cause the irrigation maintenance system to: determine abnormal operation of the at least one component of the irrigation system based on the signal; and predict, by a machine learning model, a maintenance requirement of the at least one component based on the determined abnormal operation.
CANOPY TREATMENT SYSTEM
A canopy treatment system to treat plants is disclosed. In one implementation according to examples of the present disclosure, a canopy treatment system comprises a hot fluid generating system configured to heat a fluid, the hot fluid generating system including a canopy valve; and a canopy in fluid communication with the hot fluid generating system, the canopy defining a treatment region, the canopy valve of the hot fluid generating system selectively positionable to control fluid flow between the hot fluid generating system and the canopy.
Adhesive and peripheral systems and methods for medical devices
Fill stations and base stations are provided for personal pump systems. The fill stations may be opened and closed to accept a reservoir and to allow fluid to be introduced into the reservoir for use with personal pump systems. The fill stations may hold the reservoir at a tilt relative to an underlying surface and may discourage overfilling of the reservoir. The filling stations may also include viewing windows having fluid lines marked thereon for indicating volume of fluid within the reservoir.
Adjustable control of fluid processing networks based on proportions of server effort
An example system includes a processor to receive parameters of a fluid network control system. The processor can formulate an optimal control problem as proportions of server effort. The processor can also solve the optimal control problem using a robust counterpart of a separated continuous linear programming (SCLP). The processor can further adjust a parameter of the fluid network control system based on the optimal solution.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING ELECTRIC SUBMERSIBLE PUMP BASED ON DEMAND RESPONSE
An apparatus, system and method of controlling one or more electric submersible pumps (ESPs) based on demand response to an electrical power grid. The ESPs may either be turned off, or operated at a slower speed to allow for an operator of an electrical power grid to shed load during peak times without impacting other assets on the electrical power grid.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR ASSESSING A FIELD OF PLANTS FOR IRRIGATION
A method of estimating a water property value for plants using aerial thermal images is provided. The thermal image values and at least one weather parameter are used to calculate a water stress value. The water property value is estimated using the water stress value and a predetermined correlation between the water stress value and the water property value.
Adhesive and peripheral systems and methods for medical devices
A system is disclosed. The system includes a reservoir for containing a fluidic medium, the reservoir including a front surface, a resilient cylindrical flexure portion connected to the front surface, the resilient cylindrical flexure portion comprising an accordion-like structure that is able to expand and contract to change an interior volume within the resilient cylindrical flexure portion, a central passageway within the resilient cylindrical flexure, and a collection chamber connected to the central passageway. Also, a system including a reservoir, a plunger head located within the reservoir, a plunger arm connected to the plunger head, a driving shaft connected to the plunger arm, and a motor connected to the driving shaft, the motor controllable to move the drive shaft in a first motion and a second motion so as to move the advance plunger head and retract the plunger head within the reservoir.
FLOW REGULATION DEVICE HAVING A DEFORMABLE TUBULAR MEMBRANE, FLUID DISTRIBUTION LINE AND APPARATUS COMPRISING SUCH A DEVICE
Flow regulation device having a rigid external envelope surrounding an internal tube and defining, with same, an annular chamber. The device has ends which allow for sealed connection thereof to a fluid line to be regulated, such that the internal tube is connected in series to said line. The chamber has a device for introducing a pressurized regulation fluid therein, the internal tube being configured to dilate under the pressure of the fluid to be regulated when the pressure of the fluid to be regulated exceeds the pressure of the regulating fluid. The device has a detector of the dilation of the internal tube, and a connection device from the detector to a control unit of a source connected to the line. Fluid distribution line and apparatus having such a device.
FUEL TRANSFER PUMP WITH WIRELESS CONTROL
A fuel transfer pump electrical circuit for controlling a fuel transfer pump comprises a controller with communications logic configured for establishing a wireless communications link with a mobile device and a switch for activating a motor in the pump. The switch is controllably linked to the controller. The controller is configured to turn the switch on and off based on instructions received via the wireless communications link, thereby controlling the fuel transfer pump to turn a flow of fuel on and off. A mobile device application for interacting with the fuel transfer pump is also described.
Fluid delivery device and methods of its operation
A medicinal fluid delivery device and methods for its use are provided. The device can include a command means and a dispensing unit that can include a reusable part and a disposable, reservoir part. Software can be included that facilitates pairing and communications between a command means and the dispensing unit.
