Air maintenance tire
A wheel mounted control assembly receives therethrough the tire valve stem from an air maintenance tire. A control assembly regulator controls a flow of air to and from a tire-mounted air pumping tube. The control assembly includes a bi-directional air distribution flow control system having multiple parallel air pathways, each air pathway coupled to a respective conduit connected to an air pumping tube mounted within a tire sidewall. The pathways alternatively operate to deliver ambient non-pressurized air to the air pumping tube in response to directional tire rotation against a ground surface.

The system also includes a volume sensor assembly for determining the at least one volume of fluid delivered, wherein the controller recalculates the trajectory based on the volume of fluid delivered.
Differentiate user by their water behavior
A system is provided for differentiating between water usage of multiple water consumers using a common distributed water infrastructure. The system receives from a water sensor that is upstream of a plurality of appliances, signals indicative of water usage, and constructs from the signals a plurality of water event profile signatures. The system associates, based on differences between similar water event profiles, at least one water event profile signature with a first water consumer and associates a second water event profile signature with a second water consumer, and stores the water event profile signatures for the first water consumer and the second water consumer. The system constructs current water event profiles reflecting subsequent water usage in the distributed water infrastructure, and attributes a first current water event profile to the first water consumer and attributes a second current water event profile to the second water consumer.
WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A water management method for controlling at least one operational parameter of at least one water control device, wherein the operational parameter is associated with water used by the water control device, the method comprising the steps of: sending, from an electronic controller of the water control device, operational data associated with the operational parameter to an embedded electronic device; receiving, at the embedded electronic device, the operational data, and developing control data based on the received operational data and sending the control data to the electronic controller; and receiving, at the electronic controller, the control data and controlling the operational parameter of the water control device based on the received control data.
INFLATOR WITH AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF FUNCTIONALITY
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide an electronic inflator configured to direct pressurized air into an inflatable object, to monitor the air pressure inside the inflatable object, and to automatically stop directing pressurized air into the inflatable object after determining that the air pressure inside the inflatable object has reached a preset pressure.
METHOD OF MONITORING A FLUID LEVEL WITHIN A FLUID VOLUME
A method of monitoring a low water volume of a water circulation system is disclosed that includes detecting an auxiliary measurement associated with an ancillary device fluidly coupled with a reservoir of water in a water circulation system and then determining whether the ancillary device is performing under a low water volume operation. The low water volume operation is based upon a comparison between at least the detected auxiliary measurement of the ancillary device and a condition associated with a performance of the ancillary device under the low water volume operation.
Water supply apparatus and water supply method
A water supply apparatus is provided to meet demands for energy saving by controlling the rotational speed of a pump (1), for example, so as to lower the rotational speed in the time zone when water is not used much while avoiding the time zone when water is used in large quantities. The water supply apparatus includes the pump (1) configured to pressurize and deliver water, a frequency converter configured to supply electric power to the pump (1) to operate the pump (1) at a variable speed, and a controller (15) configured to send operating signals to the frequency converter so as to operate the pump (1) either at a first operation or at a second operation with less power consumption than the first operation. The controller (15) is configured to judge whether the operation of the pump (1) should be shifted from the first operation to the second operation based on an operational state of the pump (1).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EFFECTIVE USE OF A LOW-YIELD WELL
A system and method for operating a low-yield well. The method starts with a pressure transducer telling a control box that a storage tank is low on water. The controller then activates the well pump, the water then flows up a pipe past a pressure transducer showing the back pressure, through a regulator and into the storage tank. The controller is constantly monitoring the tank level and the back-pressure level to indicate when to turn off the well to either stop from over filling the storage tank, or over pumping the well. The controller makes adjustments dependent on the back pressure (which indicates the level of water left in the well) and determines how long to withdraw water and how long to wait until the water can be withdrawn again. The system prevents pumping the well dry, and keeps the pump and well in good operating condition.
Fluid flow device with sparse data surface-fit-based remote calibration system and method
A method for calibrating a product valve disposed along a flow path in a duct, with a calibration valve in a duct remote from the product valve and having a geometric shape and operational parameters corresponding to those of the product valve. A calibration controller establishes calibration conditions and, in responsive thereto, generates a calibration flow rate (CFM) function by measuring for the calibration valve, a sparse set of flow rates and determining a surface-fit mathematical representation of fluid flow through the calibration valve over applied calibrated flow rates and the measured pressure drops. The CFM Function is transferred to a product blade controller, which in turn, processes the representation of the mathematical surface, and controls fluid flow through product valve based on values extracted from the received CFM Function as well as at least one parameter control signal indicative of a desired set point.
