Product dispensing system
A system for monitoring flow conditions of fluid flowing from a product container through a solenoid pump. The system includes at least one solenoid pump comprising a solenoid coil, which, when energized, produces a stroke of the solenoid pump, at least one product container connected to the at least one solenoid pump wherein the at least one solenoid pump pumps fluid from the at least one product container during each stroke, at least one PWM controller configured to energize the at least one solenoid pump, at least one current sensor for sensing the current flow through the solenoid coil and producing an output of the sensed current flow, and a control logic subsystem for controlling the flow of fluids through the solenoid pump by commanding the PWM controller and for monitoring the current through the solenoid pump by receiving the output from the current sensor, wherein the control logic subsystem uses the measured current flow through the solenoid coil to determine whether the stroke of the solenoid pump is functional.
Apparatus, method and system for calibrating a liquid dispensing system
An apparatus, method and system providing for calibration and/or control of a liquid dispensing system is disclosed. The hand-held calibration auditing tool includes a flow meter (36-37) with inlets adapted for quick connection to one or more liquid inputs and/or liquid outputs of a liquid dispensing system (10). A sensor (94-95) having a data output of liquid flow information for a liquid input to the dispensing system (10) is operably connected to a controller (12) to receive the liquid flow information for the liquid input. The controller (12) provides a dilution rate and other liquid flow information for a liquid product input to a dispenser. The tool may include any number of flow meters, and may also include a flow meter connected to an outlet of a dispenser (22) for providing flow information.
Dispensing system
The present invention provides a dispensing system comprising a self-gassing liquid to be dispensed and a dispenser for dispensing the self-gassing liquid, the dispenser including: a valve housing having an inlet for receiving the liquid and an outlet through which the liquid is to be dispensed; a valve chamber and/or passage extending between the inlet and the outlet, and a valve arranged to open and close the valve chamber and/or passage; pressure maintaining means arranged to maintain the pressure of liquid at the inlet to the valve housing at a constant pressure during successive dispensing operations; and control means for controlling the opening and closing of the valve, the control means being arranged to open and close the valve to commence and terminate each successive dispensing operation, wherein the period for which the valve is open determines the quantity of liquid dispensed. The dispensing system may permit very small quantities of liquid to be dispensed with great accuracy and avoid the liquid being subjected to high shear forces. The system is particularly beneficial for the dispensing of peracetic acid.
Blender hopper control system for multi-component granular compositions
Embodiments of the present invention include a method and system for controlling the flow rate of materials into and out of the blender. The system includes the control and management of an on-site storage system for each component of a mixture, regulating the delivery rate of a blend mixture into a blender hopper, regulating the exit rate of the blended mixture from the blender hopper, and coordinating the flow of materials into and out of the blender.
Techniques for controlling precursors in chemical deposition processes
An apparatus for controlling precursor flow. The apparatus may include a processor; and a memory unit coupled to the processor, including a flux control routine. The flux control routine may be operative on the processor to monitor the precursor flow and may include a flux calculation processor to determine a precursor flux value based upon a change in detected signal intensity received from a cell of a gas delivery system to deliver a precursor.
Method for controlling a pump system and pump system
A method for controlling a pump system as well as to a pump system with multi-component material being dispensed under pressure using a mixer and a spray gun of the pump system, component material being pumped using at least two pumps of the pump system, said component material being stored using liquid tanks of the pump system each allocated to the pumps, said component material being dosed using dosage valves of the pump system each allocated to the pumps, said pump system being controlled by means of a control unit of the pump system, said dosage valves each being regulated using an electric regulating device of the control unit each allocated to the pump, a mixing ratio of the component materials being regulated using a control device of the control unit, said regulating devices being regulated by means of the control device.
VOLUMETRIC AND GRAVIMETRIC FILL LEVEL FOR PRODUCING A GAS MIXTURE
A method for producing a gas mixture in a gas container is provided, having a plurality of components. At least one first component is volumetrically metered, said first component being locked into at least one sample volume of a plurality of sample volumes from a storage container of the first component and conducted into the gas container from the at least one sample volume, and at least one second component is gravimetrically metered, wherein the at least one second component is conducted from a storage container of the at least one second component into the gas container, and the gas container is weighed using a scale in order to determine the content of the at least one second component. A device for carrying out the method is also provided.
System and method for blending of bulk dry materials in oil well cementing
The invention relates to an apparatus, system, and method for the bulk blending of dry component materials to produce a blended product mix. The apparatus utilizes a special construction that allows multiple bulk dry materials to be added simultaneously to create a blended mix compliant with a desired or specified mixture of cement components. The system is automated by use of a controller, and provides real-time data to a user as to rates and amounts of materials blended and delivered over time.
System and method for round robin product blending
A method, an electronic device, and a computer readable medium for fuel blending are disclosed. The method includes deriving a volume of each product from at least two products that is transferred from separate source containers to fill a destination container. The method also includes transferring a portion of the derived volume of each of the products sequentially into the destination container, wherein each product is transferred one at a time. The method further includes repeating the transfer of the portion of each of the products for a plurality of cycles until the derived volume of each of the products is transferred into the destination container. Each product of at least two products is transferred individually and sequentially during each of the cycles. The portion of the derived volume is based on the plurality of cycles.
