PRESSURE-REDUCING VALVE
A pressure-reducing valve including a valve support with at least one through-flow channel, and a pot-shaped valve body which is displaceably guided against a restoring force from an open position into a closed position at a guide journal which protrudes into the pot-shaped interior of the valve body. In the closed position, the valve body rests via a peripheral edge of its pot shape against a valve seat provided on the valve support, so that the valve body closes at least one channel opening of the at least one through-flow channel. At least one wiper lip protrudes at the inner circumference of the pot of the valve body and/or at the outer circumference of the guide journal, and the wiper lip moves close to or rests against the outer circumference of the journal or the inner circumference of the pot of the adjacent component.
Pressure regulating valve with multi-pronged piston assembly
A pressure regulator includes a pronged piston positioned inside an internal chamber, such that the pronged piston moves longitudinally along the axis of the internal chamber in response to the pressures exerted on the piston by a liquid flowing through the regulator. The piston has a first disk and a second disk connected by a number of prongs. The second disk is configured to seal the inlet port of the pressure regulator when the piston is in a closed position and the number or prongs act as guides for the piston as it slides within the internal chamber.
Pressure regulator device and method of using same
A pressure regulator device, particularly a dome-loaded pressure regulator, regulating a blowing pressure in a blowmolding machine, including a regulator chamber. The regulator chamber includes a primary pressure port for introduction of primary medium into the regulator chamber with primary pressure, and a secondary pressure port for discharging primary medium from the regulator chamber with secondary pressure. A regulator piston is mounted displaceably inside the regulator chamber, movable into an open and a closed position by a switch position of a valve control device for controlling and/or setting the primary and/or secondary pressure. The valve control device includes a control chamber, and a sealing device arranged at a lower movement stop inside the control chamber between the secondary pressure port and the control means, such that contact of the primary medium with the control means is prevented at least partly, preferably completely, independently of the control pressure and/or primary pressure.
Hybrid flow and pressure regulation
A hybrid pressure and flowguage regulator apparatus includes a regulator body, an inlet, and an outlet assembly. The outlet assembly includes a first orifice of a first size, a second orifice of a second size that is larger than the first size, and a mechanism that automatically moves the first orifice between a first position and a second position. When the first orifice is in the first position, the flow of gas passes through both the first orifice and second orifice. When the first orifice is in the second position, the flow of gas bypasses the first orifice and flows through the second orifice with a specific flow rate or a second pressure that is less than the first pressure. The apparatus may also include a gauge that provides a visual indication of both the specific flow rate and the second pressure.
Pressure maintaining valve for a reversible connection to an air line
A pressure-maintaining valve for a reversible connection to an air line, having a basic body with an inlet opening, an outlet opening for accommodating the air line, and a fluid chamber which connects the inlet opening to the outlet opening in a fluid-communicating manner. A piston which is mounted movably between a sealing position, an equalizing position and a release position is arranged in the inlet opening, and the piston has an annular groove with a piston sealing surface and a piston release surface. In the sealing position, a sealant is arranged in a sealing manner between the piston sealing surface and a basic body sealing surface. In the equalizing position an equalizing line arranged in the sealing piston bypasses the sealant in a fluid-communicating manner. In the release position, the piston release surface lifts off the sealant from the basic body sealing surface.
Piston sensor with baffle plate
A valve assembly includes a sensing cavity and a piston cavity defined in valve body and/or in a bonnet. A piston head of a piston may be disposed within the piston cavity, and a piston stem has an end portion in contact with valve plug. A baffle plate has a first surface defining a portion of the sensing cavity and a second surface defines a portion of the piston cavity. The baffle plate includes at least one baffle aperture such that the sensing cavity is in fluid communication with the piston cavity, and pressure in the sensing cavity acts on a surface of the piston head to displace the piston and the valve plug between an open and closed position. The at least one baffle aperture is adapted to restrict the flow of fluid between the sensing cavity and the first working volume.
EXPANDABLE HOSE
Provided is a hose including a first connector assembly including a regulator assembly, a second connector assembly, and a hose assembly coupled to the first and second connector assemblies. The hose assembly includes an inner hose member having first and second ends, an outer hose member having first and second ends, a first hose connector assembly coupled to the first ends of the inner hose member and outer hose member and the first connector assembly, and a second hose connector assembly coupled to the second ends of the inner hose member and outer hose member and the second connector assembly.
Inlet pressure compensation for a valve system
An inlet pressure valve regulation system to provide a regulated fluid flow includes a housing, first piston assembly, regulating valve, and inlet pressure conduit. The housing has an inlet at an inlet end which receives a pressurized fluid and an outlet at an outlet end which provides the regulated fluid flow. The piston assembly is arranged in the housing and has a first cavity and a control orifice to fluidly connect the inlet to the first cavity. The first piston assembly is configured to regulate the fluid flow. The regulating valve has a first valve chamber, a second valve chamber fluidly connected to a vent, a floating valve seat disposed between the first valve chamber and the second valve chamber, and a valve component. The floating valve seat includes a diaphragm and a seat having a passageway to fluidly connect the first valve chamber and the second valve chamber.
Pressure regulation valve
A pneumatic pressure regulation valve comprising: a valve inlet; a valve outlet; a piston arranged to control gas flow from the inlet to the outlet; a sense line fluidly connecting the inlet to a pressure regulation chamber and with a pressure relief valve connected thereto to limit the pressure in the pressure regulation chamber; wherein the piston is arranged between the pressure regulation chamber and the valve outlet such that the position of the piston is determined by the relative pressures in the regulation chamber and the valve outlet and the position of the piston controls the flow from the valve inlet to the valve outlet; wherein the sense line comprises a flow restriction upstream of the pressure relief valve. The flow restriction addresses instability that can arise from large volumes of connecting tubes or pipes in the sense line.
Fluid pressure regulator with reverse flow capability
A fluid pressure regulator includes a housing having an inlet and an outlet, a valve assembly disposed in the housing, and one or more check valves disposed within the housing. The one or more check valves may be closed when a regulator inlet pressure is greater than a regulator output pressure. When the regulator output pressure is greater than the regulator input pressure, the one or more check valves may open and flow may occur from the outlet of the fluid regulator to the inlet of the fluid regulator, even if the valve assembly is in a closed position.
