The present invention relates to a freeze prevention valve capable of controlling a discharge flow rate according to a temperature. More particularly, the present invention relates to a freeze prevention valve capable of controlling a discharge flow rate according to a temperature, wherein the valve is to prevent freezing of a pipe by allowing a working fluid such as water flowing along various pipes including water pipes, faucets, and water meters to continuously flow without freezing at a temperature below a freezing point, and a shape memory elastic body which is a configuration of the valve can control a flow rate of the working fluid flowing out of the valve by proportionally changing a yield stress by a phase change according to a temperature of the working fluid instead of performing a simple opening/closing operation.

Faucet assembly with integrated anti-scald device

Fluid supply assemblies for fluid systems are provided, including faucet assemblies (e.g., electrically or mechanically actuated faucet assemblies) having an integrated anti-scald device and having an integrated temperature mixing valve. An exemplary faucet assembly includes an integrated temperature mixing valve, and/or an integrated anti-scald device configured to stop the inlet flow of hot water in the event the mixed outlet water temperature exceeds a user-selected set point. The faucet assemblies can prevent scalding as defined by ASSE 1070.

A hydraulic control system includes a primary sump and an auxiliary sump. When the transmission fluid is warm, fluid remains in the auxiliary sump reducing the volume of oil in circulation throughout the transmission to reduce parasitic losses. An oil control valve is designed to block flow of oil from the auxiliary sump to the primary sump when the fluid is warm and to allow flow when the fluid is cold. The oil control valve also responds to transmission line pressure. At moderate temperatures, fluid is held in the auxiliary sump when the engine is running but drains back to the primary sump when the engine is off.

Passive flow modulation of cooling flow into a cavity

A passive flow modulation device according to an embodiment includes: a pressure sensitive main valve controlling a flow of a cooling fluid from a first area to a second area through an orifice; and a temperature sensitive pilot valve coupled to the pressure sensitive main valve, the temperature sensitive pilot valve configured to open at a predetermined temperature in the first area, causing a pressurization of the pressure sensitive main valve, wherein the pressurization of the pressure sensitive main valve actuates the pressure sensitive main valve to an open position, allowing the cooling fluid to flow from the first area to the second area through the orifice.
