An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing including a first surface facing a first direction, a second surface facing a second direction opposite to the first direction, and a side surface extending between and along a perimeter of the first surface and the second surface, a cover glass corresponding to at least the first surface, a display panel disposed under the cover glass and including an active area exposed through the cover glass, an inactive area surrounding the active area, and a printed circuit board connection portion connected to one end of the inactive area, wherein at least one opening or at least one cutaway portion is formed in the display panel, and a camera module disposed in a space formed by the at least one opening or the at least one cutaway portion and exposed through the cover glass.
OPTICAL PLATE AND DISPLAY APPARATUS
A display apparatus includes a light-transmitting structural plate, some optical microscopic structures, an optical film, a base plate and some light emitting elements. The light-transmitting structural plate has a first side and a second side opposite to each other. The optical microscopic structures are regularly arrayed and formed on the first side or the second side. The optical microscopic structure has an inclined surface connecting at a connecting line and forming an angle ranging between 30 degrees and 150 degrees with a corresponding inclined surface of an adjacent one of the optical microscopic structures. The optical film is located on the first side. The base plate is separated from the second side by a space. The light emitting elements are located inside the space and disposed on the base plate. The light emitting elements respectively emit a light ray to the light-transmitting structural plate.
Sterile Screen Protector
A sterile screen protector includes a frame that may be removably coupled to a touch screen in a surgical environment. A sheet is coupled to the frame. The sheet covers the touch screen when the frame is coupled to the touch screen. Thus, a sterilized user may manipulate the touch screen without comprising sterility of the sterilized user. An adhesive layer is coupled to the frame. The adhesive layer adhesively engages the touch screen thereby facilitating the frame to be removably retained on the touch screen.
Computer display or cover glass/cell attachment to frame
The described embodiments relate generally to computing devices including liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and more particularly to methods for attaching a cover glass layer to a structural housing while minimizing an amount of stress transferred through the cover glass layer to the LCD module. A continuous and compliant foam adhesive can be used to bond the cover glass layer to a structural. The compliant bond can absorb and distribute local stress concentrations caused by structural loads, mismatched surfaces and differing thermal expansion rates between various structures and cover glass layer. This can reduce stress concentrations in the cover glass layer that can lead to stress induced birefringence in the LCD cell. In other embodiments, the cover glass layer can be attached using magnets or a tongue and groove design.
DISPLAY PANEL AND DISPLAY DEVICE
A display panel and a display device are provided in the present disclosure. The display panel, including a display region and a non-display region, includes a first base substrate and a second base substrate. The display panel further includes a sealing adhesive between the first base substrate and the second base substrate. The sealing adhesive is disposed in the non-display region by surrounding the display region and includes a main body part and a plurality of first extension parts connected to the main body part. The plurality of the first extension parts is between the main body part and the display region. The display panel further includes a first reflective metal part in the non-display region, where at least a portion of the first reflective metal part surrounds the display region, and includes a plurality of second reflective metal parts, arranged along a first direction, in the non-display region.
Bracket assembly for a multi-component vision system in an electronic device
An electronic device that includes a vision system carried by a bracket assembly is disclosed. The vision system may include a first camera module that captures an image of an object, a light emitting element that emits light rays toward the object, and a second camera module that receives light rays reflected from the object. The light rays may include infrared light rays. The bracket assembly is designed not only carry the aforementioned modules, but to also maintain a predetermined and fixed separation between the modules. The bracket assembly may form a rigid, multi-piece bracket assembly to prevent bending, thereby maintaining the predetermined separation. The electronic device may include a transparent cover designed to couple with a housing. The transparent cover includes an alignment module designed to engage a module and provide a moving force that aligns the bracket assembly and the modules to a desired location in the housing.
Device and method of attaching screen protectors to mobile devices, tablets, and computers
A screen protector attachment device for releasably attaching any of a variety of screen protectors to a viewing display of an electronic device. A screen protector attachment device includes a base bracket having a magnet embedded therein, and a screen foil bracket having a magnet embedded therein wherein the base bracket comprises one of a planar bracket, an angled bracket, a curved bracket, a corner bracket, or a flexible bracket, configured to accommodate electronic devices having either a full viewing display or a display with a peripheral frame. A protector screen is affixed to one or more screen foil brackets that are each magnetically coupled to corresponding base brackets attached about the viewable display of electronic devices.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a display panel that has a display region in which an image is displayed, a first adhesive layer disposed below the display panel, a translucent protective film disposed below the first adhesive layer, a fingerprint sensor disposed below the protective film and that overlaps the display region, the first adhesive layer, and the protective film when viewed in a plane, and a cover layer disposed below the protective film and in which an opening for accommodating the fingerprint sensor is formed.
Organic light emitting diode display panel having double retaining wall structure provided with at least a notch reducing its border width
A narrow border organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display panel is provided, including a substrate, a light-emitting functional layer, a light-emitting functional layer having an organic sub-layer, an encapsulation layer, a first retaining wall, and a second retaining wall, wherein the first retaining wall is disposed around a circumferential periphery of the organic sub-layer; the second retaining wall is disposed between the first retaining wall and the organic sub-layer; wherein the second retaining wall is provided with at least a notch to reduce a border width of a side of the OLED display panel on which the notch is defined.
