A wireless communication device has a display device and a transmitter that wirelessly transmits a wireless (e.g., NFC) signal from an antenna. The antenna is positioned such that the display device may be between the antenna and another wireless communication device that is to receive the signal, and the display device may attenuate such signal. A reflector of the display device is patterned with small gaps in order to limit the loop sizes of eddy currents that are induced by the wireless signal, thereby reducing parasitic power consumption of the reflector to the wireless signal. Thus, the presence of the gaps in the reflector improves the transparency of the display device to the wireless signal without significantly affecting the performance of the reflector in sinking heat and reflecting light.

A document holder for a display monitor is provided. The device includes a lower portion attached to an upper portion with a hinge, where the lower portion is, in turn affixable to an upper edge of a housing of a display monitor. The lower portion can be integral to the display monitor housing in one embodiment or can be removably secured thereto via a bracket in alternate embodiments. The lower portion further includes a pair of sidewalls and a front retaining wall defining a tray configured to support a document. The upper portion is rotatable between a deployed configuration and a stored configuration, such that the upper portion is positioned between the side retaining walls when the upper portion is in the stored configuration. In one use, documents are displayed above a display monitor within the document holder for enhanced visibility and accessibility.

A protective case configured to cover a portable electronic device is provided. The protective case may include a first card storage configured to receive a first card, and a second card storage configured to store a second card where the second card storage is spaced apart from the first card storage.

An adjustable frame which attaches to the bezel of a computer monitor, which comprises a first frame part and a second frame part joined in an extensible connection such that the second frame part telescopically extends or contracts in relation to the first frame part to alter the width of the adjustable frame to match the width of any computer monitor. The adjustable frame further comprises horizontal and vertical holders positioned at the top and sides of the monitor which are adapted to retain and display thin planar objects. The adjustable frame also comprises a fold-down shelf assembly adapted to display a book, and pivots between a vertical raised position and a horizontal lowered position.

A laptop case with a movable attached platform to either of the short sides of the case, left or right, or to both of the short sides of the case, that initially sit(s) within the case when folded or within the top or bottom housing(s) of the case when in the resting position, and lay(s) flat directly beside the case when unfolded or when slid out in the use position. This/these platform(s) can be used to hold a variety of electronics and media, including but not limited to tablet and handheld devices, portable gaming and electronic devices, notebooks and writing pads, and books and magazines for use while sitting, reclining, or standing.

A bracket for holding signs adjacent a screen of a television monitor on display at a retail store is described. A triangular support structure has struts which connect to the universal wall mounts of the monitor. An extension arm adapted to hold a sign is pivotally connected to triangular support allowing it to pivot with respect to the monitor. A biasing means urges the extension arm toward the screen of the monitor. If the monitor begins to fall, the extension arm is pulled by the biasing means to pivot toward the screen to protect the screen from damage in the event that the monitor falls on an object. It may also include a trigger lever at the base of the monitor which pulls a connection link which releases a catch allowing the extension arm to pivot.

A display apparatus includes a display module, a support configured to rotate and support the display module, and a mounting device configured to mount a mobile device on the display module. The mobile device is configured to be paired with the display module. The mounting device includes a mounting portion including a mounting groove having a shape corresponding to a frame forming borders of the display module. The mounting portion is coupled to the frame when the frame is inserted into the mounting groove, and an accommodating portion is positioned below the mounting portion, and accommodates the mobile device such that the mobile device is mounted on the display module.

A document holder for a display monitor is provided. The device includes a lower portion attached to an upper portion with a hinge, where the lower portion is, in turn affixable to an upper edge of a housing of a display monitor. A multipurpose elastic band to wrap around an object, the multipurpose elastic band including a main portion to elastically stretch around the object, and a protruded portion disposed along an entire base of the main portion to protrude a predetermined distance perpendicularly from the main portion and to elastically stretch along with the main portion.

The dual input device has a keyboard on the front side of the input device, a display screen on the back side of the input device, an electromagnetic touch panel and a control circuit between the front side and the display screen. The keyboard, the display screen, and the electromagnetic touch panel are connected with the control circuit, respectively. The control circuit includes a direction control circuit for controlling the On/Off of the keyboard, the display screen and the electromagnetic touch panel. Through the direction control circuit, the input device combines the traditional keyboard and the writing pad in a single dual input device. In addition, because the electromagnetic touch panel is placed behind the display screen, the input data can be displayed in real time, and the original handwriting can be saved.
