Methods, systems and apparatus to manage a spatially dynamic display
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed. An example apparatus to update a spatially adjustable display disclosed herein includes a display size monitor to acquire an indication of a size of the spatially adjustable display, a service image comparator to compare the indication of the size to a size model, and a source image adjuster to invoke visual configuration adjustments to an output image of the spatially adjustable display based on parameters identified in the size model.
Stand
A stand assembly including a stand having a base portion and a support portion extending from the base portion. The support portion defines at least one cable routing opening. The stand assembly also includes at least one support arm configured to be coupled to the support portion of the stand, and at least one device attachment member configured to be detachably coupled to the at least one support arm. The at least one support arm is configured to rotate relative to the support portion of the stand between a first angular position and a second angular position.
DISPLAY DEVICE, MODULE, DISPLAY SYSTEM, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A display device or a display system with which a viewer can feel a strong or natural stereoscopic effect in a two-dimensional image and is less likely to be fatigued is provided. The display system includes a display portion, a detection portion, and a control portion. The display portion is flexible. The detection portion is configured to detect the conditions of a viewer's eye to obtain detection information and to supply the detection information to the control portion. The control portion is configured to extract information on the viewer's fatigue from the detection information and to change the curvature of the display portion on the basis of the information on the viewer's fatigue. The central angle of the curved surface of the display portion is preferably greater than or equal to 20 and less than 90.
Flexible display device
A flexible display device is disclosed which includes a body having a body bearing face; a flexible display screen having a fixed section and at least one bent section, where the fixed section overlies the body bearing face, and is connected with the body, and the bent section can be bent in a first axis direction, and folded to the backside of the body bearing face; and a housing enclosing the body and the flexible display screen, which can be opened in a second axis direction relative to the body to expose the flexible display screen entirely, where the first axis and the second axis are two intersecting axes parallel to the body bearing face.
Apparatus and method for automatically activating a camera application based on detecting an intent to capture a photograph or a video
A method of automatically activating a camera application implemented in a mobile device in locked mode starts with the processor receiving a first signal from an accelerometer. The device's processor activates the camera application when the processor determines that the mobile device has remained in a stationary portrait or landscape position for a period of time based on the first signal. Activating the camera application includes signaling by the processor to the display device to display a camera screen from a locked screen. The processor may also receive a second signal from a proximity sensor that detects presence of a nearby object to the mobile device. When the processor determines that there is presence of the nearby object to the mobile device based on the second signal, the mobile device remains in locked mode and the processor does not activate the camera application.
Optical touch device and foldable frame assembly thereof
An optical touch device includes a foldable frame assembly, two image sensing units and two light emitting units. The foldable frame assembly comprises a first frame, a second frame, a third frame and a fourth frame. The two image sensing units are disposed on opposite ends of the fourth frame respectively. The two light emitting units are disposed on opposite ends of the fourth frame respectively and adjacent to the two image sensing units respectively. The frames of the foldable frame assembly are pivotally connected to each other such that the frames can rotate with respect to each other so as to be folded or expanded.
Mobile terminal having dual display unit and method of changing display screen using the same
An apparatus is disclosed, including a first display and a second display and a controller operatively coupled to the first display and the second display, the controller configured to receive an input, identify a function associated with the input, present first information associated with a first function via the first display operatively coupled to the electronic device if the identified function is the first function, and present second information associated with a second function via the second display operatively coupled to the electronic device if the identified function is the second function.
Standoff assistant systems for portable communication devices
A standoff device for assisting in maintaining a handheld portable communications device a predetermined distance away from a user's head. Some embodiments use one or more rigid members stowable on the communication device and deployable there from to contact the user's head to establish and indicate a predetermined spaced-apart distance. Some embodiments incorporate panels of resilient materials or fabric for communications privacy. Some embodiments use an electronic range finder on the communications device to alarm when the device is held too close to the head. The standoff device may be attached to or built into the housing of the communications device or may be attached to or built into a case for the communications device.
DISPLAY APPARATUS AND METHOD OF DISPLAYING CONTENT
Provided are a rotatable display device and a method of displaying content using the same. The display device includes a display; and a controller configured to control the display to display first video content based on a first source, sense pivoting of the display while the first video content is displayed, and control the display, in response to the pivoting, to display second video content based on at least one second source different from the first source, the second video content being different from the first video content.
Moveable housing of a mobile communications device
Mobile communications devices having moveable housings are described. In an implementation, a mobile communications device includes a first housing and a second housing. At least one of the first or second housings are moveable between a first configuration in which the first housing substantially covers the second housing so that an outer surface of the second housing is covered and an outer surface of the first housing is viewable, and a second configuration in which said outer surface of the second housing is exposed and positioned such that said outer surface of the second housing is positioned in a substantially similar plane to that of said outer surface of the first housing.
