A rolling display mechanism, including a frame supporting a display screen having a retractable portion, a first rack along the upper edge of the frame and mechanically connected to the retractable portion, a second rack along the lower edge of the frame and mechanically connected to the retractable portion, at least one torsion spring extending between the upper and lower edge of the frame, where each torsion spring of the at least one torsion spring is a helical torsion spring, a first pinion mechanically connected to the at least one torsion spring and configured to drive the first rack linearly, and a second pinion mechanically connected to the at least one torsion spring and configured to drive the second rack linearly, where rotation of the first and second pinions is transferred to in-plane movement of the retractable portion.

DEVICE CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
The present disclosure discloses a device control method and apparatus, a storage medium, and an electronic device. The device control method can be applied in an electronic device including a retractable display screen. The device control method includes: identifying a use scenario of the electronic device; and controlling, based on the use scenario, the retractable display screen to spread out or retract. The present disclosure can improve operability of the electronic device.

A flexible electronic device is provided. The flexible electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing, a hinge structure arranged between the first housing and the second housing, a flexible display, at least one sensor, at least one processor, and a memory. The flexible electronic device can determine, when an image capture input on the flexible display is detected, a form by using the at least one sensor, determine, when a first form is determined, whether different functions are being executed in a first area and a second area of the flexible display, and capture, when it is determined that different functions are being executed, at least a portion of the area from which the image capture input has been detected.
PORTABLE ELECTRONIC APPARATUS WITH MULTIPLE SCREENS
A portable electronic apparatus with multiple screens includes a first screen and a second screen movably coupled to the first screen along an arcuate path to be received in the first screen or moved out of the first screen. The first screen and the second screen face a same side of the portable electronic apparatus. The second screen includes a base, a lifting mechanism disposed on the base, and a display unit. The display unit is disposed on the lifting mechanism to be driven by the lifting mechanism to be lifted or lowered relative to the base. When the second screen is moved out of the first screen and a step is provided between a display surface of the display unit and a display surface of the first screen, the display unit is adapted to be lifted relative to the base through the lifting mechanism to compensate the step.

One or more embodiments of the present application relate to a flexible display panel and a display apparatus, the flexible display panel includes a display layer, an upper layer group located above the display layer, and a lower layer group located below the display layer. The at least one layer of the upper layer group and/or the at least one layer of the lower layer group comprises at least one target layer. In response to a trigger condition, a characteristic parameter of at least partial region of the at least one target layer in the upper layer group and/or the lower layer group switches between a first range and a second range, and a minimum value in the second range is greater than a maximum value in the first range.

One or more computer processors detect a contextual need for sound generation on a rollable display device, wherein the rollable display device comprises an array of micro-speakers mounted on one or more microfluidics panels and a plurality of embedded piezoelectric strips. The one or more computer processors identify one or more environmental parameters associated with an environment surrounding the rollable display device. The one or more computer processors determine a rolling profile associated with the rollable based on the detected contextual need and the one or more identified environmental parameters. The one or more computer processors roll the rollable display device based on the determined rolling profile utilizing the plurality of piezoelectric strips. The one or more computer processors adjust an output direction of each micro-speaker in the array of micro-speakers utilizing the respective microfluidics panel.

The display module is accommodated in the housing in a first state and unrolled from the housing to a first direction in a second state. The support film is accommodated in the housing in the first state and unrolled from the housing to the first direction in the second state to support the display module. The frame shrinks to a first shape in the first state and expands to a second shape in the second state in a way such that the frame applies a tensile stress to the support film in the second state.
WEARABLE DEVICE WITH EXPANDABLE DISPLAY STRIPS
An apparatus for a wearable device with expandable display strips, the apparatus includes a first layer with a first display panel coupled to a second layer with a second display panel, where the first display panel can extend and retract over a top surface of the second display panel. The apparatus also includes a first gear and rack mechanism coupled to the top surface of the second display panel and a bottom surface of the first display panel, where the first gear and rack mechanism is configured to extend and retrack the second layer with the second display relative to the first layer with the first display. Furthermore, the first layer and the second layer are arranged in a concentric manner.
