A display apparatus including a housing; a display; a roller accommodated in the housing to rotate and roll or unroll the display; and a processor configured to in response to receiving a command to display content, control the roller to rotate and unroll the display from the housing so the display is drawn out and extended from the housing, and control the display to display an entire image of the content while simultaneously expanding a size of the entire image of the content as the display is being extended from the housing so a partial portion of the content is not blocked from being viewed as the display is drawn out and extended from the housing.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a mobile terminal and a control method therefor, the mobile terminal enabling a user to conveniently determine execution screens of two or more applications to be displayed in a multitasking manner and a layout for the screens. According to an aspect of the present invention, provided is a mobile terminal comprising: a body; a display coupled to the body such that a display area viewed from the front of the body can be changed according to the switching between an extended display mode and a contracted display mode; and a control unit for making a control to display together recently used application information and display layout information for multitasking.

The flexible body is attached to a first surface of the first body and a second surface of the second body. The first surface and the second surface are located on a same side of the electronic apparatus. The elastic member is arranged in the accommodation chamber. A first end of the flexible body is fixedly connected to the first body.

An electronic device according to various example embodiments may include a housing including a first housing and a second housing slidably coupled to the first housing within a specific range, a heating part disposed to at least one region of the first housing and second housing, a driving unit disposed to one region in the housing, a flexible display which may include a first portion exposed for view (visible to a user) to the outside of the housing and a second portion extending from the first portion and inserted into the housing or drawn out to the outside when the second housing moves with respect to the first housing, a support structure, at least one temperature sensor, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to sense a temperature and at least control a movement speed of the second housing based on at least the sensed temperature.

According to certain embodiments of the disclosure, an electronic device may include a first housing; a second housing slidably combined with the first housing; a display fixed at least in part to the second housing and having an visible display area increasing or decreasing in response to a sliding of the second housing, wherein the visible display area is a portion viewed from an outside of the electronic device; and a support structure having a bendable structure, supporting at least a portion of the display, and moving in response to the sliding of the second housing, the support structure comprising one or more support members, and guide rail, wherein each one of the one or more the support members include: a base member extending in a first direction perpendicular to a sliding direction of the second housing and arranged along the sliding direction, and connected to the guide rail, wherein the guide rail guides the movement of the base member; a moving member formed in a shape corresponding at least in part to a receiving groove formed in the base member and inserted at least in part into the receiving groove, and a fixing member fixing the base member and the moving member to the display.

A display device includes a display panel comprising a first area and a second area located on a side of the first area in a first direction, a panel storage that accommodates the display panel therein, and a support module that supports a bottom of the display panel and assists a sliding operation of the display panel in the first direction. The support module comprises a first support member overlapping the first area, and a second support member overlapping the second area, the second support member comprising joints spaced apart from each other and spacers having an elastic modulus and disposed between the joints.

A functional assembly and an electronic device including the functional assembly are provided. The functional assembly includes a functional module, a motor, and a linking mechanism. The functional module has a first shaft. The motor has a second shaft and is configured to drive the second shaft to rotate. The linking mechanism is connected with the first shaft and the second shaft such that the first shaft and the second shaft are linking-up with each other. As a result, the thickness of the electronic device near the frame is not limited by the size of the motor, which further reduces the thickness of the electronic device.

The mobile terminal includes a body, an input unit configured to receive user input, a display coupled to the body to vary a display region viewed from a front face of the body according to switching between an enlarged display mode and a reduced display mode, and a controller. The controller controls output of at least one application on the display in the enlarged display mode, and controls, upon receiving an event, output of an application corresponding to the event in a first region based on a signal for confirming the received event. The first region is an event application region when a preset application is being output in the enlarged display mode and is a main region of the enlarged display mode when the preset application is not being output in the enlarged display mode.
