PORTABLE DISPLAY DEVICE USING MULTIPLE DISPLAY PANELS AS A SINGLE SCREEN
A portable display device is provided in which two display panels are joined to each other to form a single screen when two panel housings are unfolded from a folded state. The portable display device includes at least two panel housings and display panels that are mounted on the panel housings, respectively. When the panel housings are unfolded, the display panels are joined to each other to form a single screen. The distance between the display panels when the display panels are contiguous to each other is less than 3 mm and the distance between input units or between input sensors is less than 3 mm.

The electronic device includes a housing, a flexible display including a sliding plate that can slide-out from the housing, and a bendable section that can be withdrawn from the inner space of the housing overlapped and coupled to the sliding plate, a speaker, a sensor for detecting a first state in which a portion of the bendable section is inserted into the inner space of the housing through sliding-in of the sliding plate, or a second state in which a portion of the bendable section is withdrawn to the outer space of the housing through sliding-out of the sliding plate, and a processor operably connected to the at least one sensor.

Electronic devices may include a flexible display and a plate. The flexible display may be configured to be at least partially withdrawable from the internal space of the electronic device. The plate may be disposed on a rear surface of the flexible display. In the plate, a first portion of a first thickness and a second portion of a second thickness thicker than the first thickness may be repeatedly arranged based on one surface of the plate connected to the rear surface of the flexible display. The plate may include a plurality of openings formed on the first portion. The first portion and the second portion may be integrally formed, and may include or be formed from the same material.

According to an embodiment of the disclosure, an electronic device comprises a first housing structure; and a second housing structure hingedly connected to the first housing structure along a hinge axis, wherein a first surface of the first housing structure faces a first surface of the second housing structure in a folded configuration of the electronic device, and the first surface of the first housing structure and the first surface of the second housing structure are planar in an unfolded configuration of the electronic device; a first display disposed on the first surface of the first housing structure and the first surface of the second housing structure, and bendable about the hinge axis; and a sliding structure retractably disposed in the first housing structure, configured to protrude to the outside of the first housing structure in a direction substantially co-planar to the first surface of the first housing structure, the sliding structure comprising at least one optical input module facing a direction substantially orthogonal to the first surface.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing, the first housing slidable with respect to the second housing, a flexible display including a first display area and a second display area extending from the first display area and bendable or rollable, a battery disposed in the first housing or the second housing, and a supporting structure supporting at least a portion of the flexible display. The supporting structure includes a first area overlapping the battery and a second area extending from the first area. The first area of the supporting structure has a first thickness, and the second area of the supporting structure has a second thickness larger than the first thickness.
PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A portable electronic device including a first body, a second body, and a hinge mechanism is provided. The second body is connected to the first body through the hinge mechanism, and the hinge mechanism has a basis axis located at the first body and a rotation axis located at a lower end of the second body. When the second body rotates with respect to the first body, the rotation axis slides along an arc shaped path with respect to the basis axis to increase or decrease a distance between the rotation axis and the basis axis and increase or decrease a distance between the lower end of the second body and a back end of the first body.

An electronic device comprises a first structure including a first plate providing a first surface and a second surface and a second structure coupled to surround at least a portion of the first structure and configured to guide the first structure in a direction parallel with the first surface or the second surface. The device also includes a roller mounted on an edge of the second structure and a flexible display including a first area mounted on the first surface and a second area extending from the first area. The device also includes at least one support sheet mounted on the roller and wound around the roller as the roller rotates. The support sheet is wound around the roller when the second area is received inside the second structure, and is unfolded inside the second area when the second area is exposed to the outside of the second structure.
