The heat dissipation structure of the smart device holder for holding a smart device is disposed in the close proximity space of the smart device to provide a good heat dissipation effect by way of active cooling (forced convection) and passive cooling (natural convection) so as to enhance the heat dissipation performance of the smart device.

Battery pack assembly and method

A battery pack assembly includes a first battery cell supplying electric current to an electronic load, a second battery cell supplying electric current to the electronic load, and a first switch operatively coupled with the first battery cell and the electronic load. The first switch stops conduction of the electric current to the electronic load responsive to an increase in electric demand of the electronic load above a designated threshold. A method of powering an electronic load using a battery pack assembly also is provided.

The charging system includes a rectifier circuit electrically coupled to a stator of the AC generator. The rectifier circuit is configured to convert AC power to direct current (DC) power. The charging system includes an energy storage device electrically coupled to the rectifier circuit such that the energy storage device is charged with the DC power. The charging system includes a solid state switch configured to selectively couple the energy storage device to the rechargeable battery to transfer charge from the energy storage device to the rechargeable battery.
